Shaw Brothers (HK) Ltd. (Chinese: 邵氏兄弟(香港)有限公司) was the largest film production company of Hong Kong.
In 1925, the three Shaw brothers—Runje, Runme, and Runde—founded Tianyi Film Company (also called Unique) in Shanghai, then established a film distribution base in Singapore where Runme and the youngest brother Run Run Shaw managed the precursor to the parent company Shaw Organization. Shaw Brothers took over the film production business of its Hong Kong-based sister company, Shaw & Sons Ltd., in 1958.
Over the years Shaw Brothers produced some 1,000 films, before film production was suspended in 1987 to concentrate on the television industry, through its subsidiary TVB. Film production resumed in 2009.
In 2011 Shaw Brothers was reorganized into the Clear Water Bay Land Company Limited, its film production business being taken over by other companies within the Shaw conglomerate.
Li Xunhuan comes back to his home after three years of wandering. He is decided to have a normal life, but a group of skilled martial arts fighters and leaders are bent on killing him, so they can be ranked top by Bai Xiaosheng in his renowned list of the best warriors in the martial arts world. Li Xunhuan battles them as he searches for his estranged friend A'fei, who is now married and living in seclusion. Li asks A'fei to join forces and fight against a new threat that wants to rule the world: the Money Clan.
After a series of lion dances in the opening minutes, Wong Fei Hung and his once-rival, now friend, find themselves and their martial arts schools pitted against a rival school which uses a kung fu expert Master Shan from the north to do their dirty work, although the expert doesn't realize he is being evil (they lie to him). After his friend Chu-Ying's brother is beat up in a brothel, Fei Hung goes to the rival school to confront them and Master Shan. There is also a mass kung fu "war" in a local theater which is the second highlight of the film, the first being an excellent fight in an alley between Fei Hung and Master Shan. This may be the only role in which Wang Lung Wei as the hero from the north isn't a villain. He fights Wong Fei Hung but once he discovers that he has been tricked by the bad school, he refuses to help them anymore.

Pendant ce temps, les "Trois Maîtres Diaboliques" terrorisent la région et recherchent leur ennemi juré.
The story opens at a fabric dyeing mill. The quality of the dyes has noticeably worsened, and the factory owner, Wang, and his subordinate chief, Boss Wa, decide to hire some Manchu overseers to improve the work. Wang decides to cut the workers' salary to pay the mercenaries, and when the workers protest they are viciously thrashed.
After his lengthy training nears completion, expert swordsman Kao is entrusted with an unusual mission by his elderly master. The task involves taking the fabled 'Teardrop Sword' down into the martial world and solving the petty squabbles of a few supremely skilled individuals, while also deciding the fate of the seemingly cursed weapon. Kao takes his master's words on board, descends from his mountain retreat and prepares to meet the weird and wonderful pugilists he has heard so much about. Kao's arrival in town is noticed by the so-called 'Unbeatable' Sze-ma Chao-chun and his fiendishly intelligent aide Zhou who decide to keep a close eye on the stranger as they prepare to host a lavish ceremony. Unfortunately for Sze-ma, the celebration is disrupted by an assassination that leaves the whole of his clan rocked by the vicious attack. Kao insists that he has no involvement in the murder, but is happy to side with Sze-ma's long-time enemy Chu Meng of 'Braveheart Hall' when the rival clan leader is ambushed by a troop of killers. Though the histories of both swordsmen is familiar to Kao thanks to his master's instruction, he is less sure of the enigmatic killer who continues to appear during the most intriguing moments.
Chin Siu Ho joue un jeune homme qui se croit être orphelin. Jusqu'à une nuit de pluie quand il et trois hommes différents se retrouvent en prenant un abri contre la tempête au même endroit. Kuo Choi et Chiang Sheng (maître aussi sabreurs) sont les parties que Lu Feng tente de rectifier les choses avec. Grâce à la ruse lâche de la part de Chiang, un duel s'ensuit et tous les vents avec la mort de Lu. Son fils est pris à la sécurité par un serviteur (l'homme qui l'a élevé depuis). Maintenant, avec la vérité dit, Chin Siu Ho cherche l'aide de Kuo Choi et cherche à se venger de la mort injustifiée de son père.
Chef de la police impériale de la capitale Mandchou, Ling Tian Ying est connu pour son taux de succès remarquable en matière de lutte contre les crimes violents, cependant, Ling est aussi un agent de police impitoyable qui n'a jamais fait de prisonniers, cela lui vaut d'être blâmer par son propre frère pour cette détermination farouche. Lorsque deux millions de taels sont volés dans les coffres impériaux, Ling est demander de retrouver les voleurs dans les dix jours et de leur administrer sa propre justice.

Master Wang is actually the 11th prince of Manchuria in disguise. Posing as a sophisticated jewellery dealer and connoisseur of fine art and wine, the prince is trying to determine which of the other 14 heirs to the throne is trying to assassinate him. A jewel thief, Dirty Ho (Wong Yue) runs afoul of the prince, who uses Wong Yue to help him flush out his enemies.
Kung fu master Chen (Lau Kar-leung) is tricked and his hands crippled by the villainous gangster and brothel-keeper Tuen (Lo Lieh), who also forces his sister (Kara Hui) into prostitution. No longer able to practice the martial arts, he becomes a lowly street entertainer, performing with his beloved trained monkey Ah Mao. Monkey (Hsiao Ho) is a petty thief and meets Chen and the two begin an odd friendly relationship until Tuen's men slaughter Chens pet monkey, causing Little Monkey (Hsiao Hou) to try and take revenge for him. Monkey is trained by Master Chen and believes he is strong enough and leaves Master Chen. He goes into the streets and fights Tuen's money collectors. He easily defeats them all and soon he is led to Tuen. Monkey confronts Tuen initially and gets beat, Miss Chen helps Monkey escape but is killed by Tuen, forcing Chen to take revenge for his sister. Monkey returns to Master Chen shamefully and tells Chen about the meeting with his sister. Chen gets angry and goes to fight Tuen but Monkey reminds him that his hands are crippled and the Monkey Fist won't be as effective. Chen, reluctantly, agrees and trains Monkey more and then Monkey comes back to the brothel to fight Tuen again. He gets past all the men but gets trapped. Chen appears and saves him and they fight side by side. After that, Monkey engages combat with Tuen and soon gets the advantage. Tuen, seeing that he can't win tries to escape but Monkey doesn't let him and takes his hands. He smashes them into glass to cripple them, the same as what Tuen did to Chen. After that, it seems Monkey is done but then he says he also wants to avenge Chen's sister and kills Tuen.
Warrior Tuan Changqing (Ti Lung) meets courtesan Liu Yinxi (Shih Szu) in a small town. Liu pleads Tuan to kill underworld master Guo Tiansheng (Ku Feng), known as the "Killer Doctor", in oder to avenge the death of her fiance. Tuan and casino security guard Xiao Dao (Alexander Fu Sheng) breaks into Guo's household and trigeering the battle of good against evil.
Maître Liu Ruo-song, chef du Wu-Tang Clan, doit affronter les attaques d'un jeune présomptueux, Ding Peng, qui utilise une technique volée par son père pour semer le trouble dans le monde des arts martiaux.
