Synopsis
Two rival sisters, Alice and Elsa, have been apart for two years. Alice, a promising young artist, lives in an attic flat in Paris. Her lover Franck, a boxer, has just moved in with her. Problems for the happy couple ensue when Elsa, a bored housewife, suddenly appears unannounced at their door after leaving her cheating husband Thomas and their two children, and a menage-a-trois develops. Elsa immediately begins trying to dominate their lives. Alice wants the out-of-control Elsa, who disrupts their life by playing psychological games with them, to leave, but then suddenly changes her mind, unable to bring herself to throw Elsa out. To thank her, Elsa destroys her art studio, has sex with Franck, convinces him that Alice is unbalanced, and then ties Alice up in her apartment.Actors

Durant l'été 1958, Frédérique, 13 ans, et sa petite sœur Sophie, 8 ans, partent comme tous les ans en vacances à La Baule pour aller voir leur oncle Léon, leur tante Bella et leurs cousins. En effet, en réalité, Léna ne s'entend plus avec son mari Michel, qui, lui aussi, a décidé de ne pas venir en vacances dans un premier temps. Léna qui souhaite le divorce, est tombée amoureuse de Jean-Claude, un artiste. Les deux amoureux vont à la plage de La Baule, mais leur relation doit rester discrète, alors que, pendant ce temps, les enfants découvrent leurs premiers émois sentimentaux. Mais Michel et leurs enfants Frédérique et Sophie finiront par découvrir assez vite la réalité, avec ses allers-retours un peu étranges et sa nouvelle voiture dont Michel se demande à quoi elle peut bien lui servir.

Entre Nous tells the story of two young married women in the 1950s who don't recognise how unfulfilled they have been in their marriages until they meet each other. In the preliminary scenes, set in 1942, Lena (Isabelle Huppert), a pretty 18-year-old, has been arrested and brought to an internment camp for Jews in the Pyrenees. The camp is guarded by members of the French Foreign Legion, and one of them, Michel (Guy Marchand), writes her a note warning her she may be deported to a German Nazi camp, and offers her marriage as a means of escape. She accepts. During the marriage ceremony she discovers that he too is Jewish; she's dismayed to learn that she won't have the protection of a gentile name.

Anne aime Frédéric, mais ils sont de milieux différents. Elle prend les devants et l'entraîne dans une fugue vers Venise avec leur pote Bruno. Le pouce en l'air, ils traversent la France de 68. Comment se débarrasser d'un mari qui refuse de quitter le domicile conjugal ? C'est le problème de Marie-Do, confrontée à l'obstination de Bertrand, son époux.
