Il clôture le Festival du film CinemAsia aux Pays-Bas le 11 mars 2018 et est également projeté au Festival du film asiatique d'Osaka, au Festival international du Film de Newcastle au Royaume-Uni, et au Festival du film d'Extrême-Orient en Italie.
Il totalise 9 300 000 $US au box-office chinois de 2018.
Synopsis
Zhou Kai (Wang Kai ) dirige un réseau de contrebande qui expédie des marchandises d'une ville côtière chinoise jusqu'au Japon. Son petit frère est un flic novice idéaliste nommé Zhou Chao (Ma Tianyu ), qui ignore tout de ses relations louches. Lorsque Kai refuse de se tourner vers le trafic de drogue, son équipe se divise, l'un de ses hommes le trahit et Kai finit par se faire arrêter. Trois ans plus tard, il est libéré de prison et tente de mener une vie discrète et humble avec son ancien partenaire de crime Mark (Darren Wang ). Cependant, son frère ne lui pardonne pas que ses actes criminels aient provoqué la mort de leur père. C'est alors que les anciens associés de Kai le forcent à revenir dans leurs activités.Actors

In the opening scene, a man is killed in what appears to be an accident. However, it is revealed that the man was actually murdered, with the supposed accident actually orchestrated by a group of killers led by the Brain (Louis Koo). The group specializes in killing their victims using elaborate schemes that mask the murders as if they were accidents. Uncle (Stanley Fung), one of the team members, accidentally leaves a cigarette butt at the crime scene, and it is found by the Brain. After an argument, Uncle vows to quit smoking afterwards.

Cheung (Andy Lau) is given four weeks to live. As he eats at a diner, Inspector Ho Sheung-sang (Lau Ching-wan), a police negotiator, has been called to the scene of a bank robbery standoff that's being bungled by his inept boss, Wong Kai-fat (Benz Hui). Lok is now holding his position as triad chairman of the Wo Shing society unthreatened in Hong Kong. As his two-year term expires, a new chairman election nears, but Lok contemplates breaking tradition, attempting to seek re-election. At the same time, Jimmy is trying to escape Wo Shing by building a legitimate business empire in mainland China. When he is arrested in an illegal financial trade with a government official for the building of a new logisitics center and highway, the section chief of the Public Security Bureau forbids him to re-enter the mainland to do business, unless he becomes Wo Shing's next chairman. Reluctant, but forced to accept the reality he can never truly exit the triad, Jimmy enters into the election nomination, with Jet and Kun also seeking the chairman position.
