Le Commandant de l’île aux oiseaux (en russe : Комендант Птичьего острова) est un drame soviétique en noir et blanc, réalisé par Vassili Pronine en 1939, produit par la société de production cinématographique Soyuzdetfilm. C'est l'adaptation de la nouvelle éponyme de Sergueï Dikovski, une robinsonnade soviétique.
Synopsis
Le patrouilleur Smély (qui signifie littéralement « Audacieux » en français) arrête une embarcation japonaise dans l'espace maritime soviétique près de la Kamtchatka (à deux milles du port Zelyony Mys d'après le message codé intercepté). Les hommes qui tentent de se faire passer pour des pêcheurs s'avèrent être contrebandiers et espions. Ils sont arrêtés et remorqués sous la surveillance du capitaine assisté de marin Kositsyne qui restent sur leur navire. Dans la nuit, l'un des prisonniers réussit à scier le cordage qui retient leur embarcation. Une lutte s'engage entre le saboteur et le capitaine, ils passent par-dessus le bord. À ce moment une violente tempête éclate. Le petit navire dérive avec Kositsyne à la barre et les Japonais enfermés dans la cale.Actors

In 1995, Chuck Noland is a time-obsessed systems engineer, who travels worldwide resolving productivity problems at FedEx depots. He is in a long-term relationship with Kelly Frears, with whom he lives in Memphis, Tennessee. Although the couple wants to get married, Chuck's busy schedule interferes with their relationship. A Christmas with relatives is interrupted when Chuck is summoned to resolve a problem in Malaysia. While flying through a violent storm, his plane crashes into the Pacific Ocean. Chuck escapes the sinking plane and is saved by an inflatable life-raft but loses the raft's emergency locator transmitter. He clings to the life-raft, loses consciousness, and floats all night before being washed up on an island. After he awakens, he explores the island and soon discovers that it is uninhabited.

An aircraft carrying young military school cadets returning home crash lands into the sea near a remote, uninhabited, jungle island in the Pacific Ocean. Among the survivors is the pilot, Captain Benson (Michael Greene), who is seriously injured and delirious. Meanwhile, on the beach, an overweight cadet, whose real name is never revealed, nicknamed “Piggy” (Danuel Pipoly), finds a conch seashell and takes it to the grouped cadets, who adopt it to signal the right to speak and be heard by the group. The senior cadet, and one of the elder boys, Cadet Colonel Ralph (Balthazar Getty), organizes a meeting to discuss surviving their predicament. Ralph and Jack (Chris Furrh) emerge dominant, with Ralph's seniority in rank making him the one in charge. They start a fire using Piggy's glasses to try and alert any passing craft. Tensions begin to grow between Ralph and Jack.

The movie starts with the Rugrats going on an adventure through the safari, with Tommy impersonating Nigel Thornberry, who is his role model, and spoofing his nature show. In the South Pacific in 1944, U.S. Marine Corporal Allison (Robert Mitchum) and his reconnaissance party had been in the process of disembarking from a U.S. Navy submarine when they were discovered and fired upon by the Japanese. The submarine's captain was forced to dive and leave the scouting team behind. Allison got to a rubber raft and after days adrift, reaches an island. He finds an abandoned settlement and a chapel with one occupant: Sister Angela (Deborah Kerr), a novice nun who has not yet taken her final vows. She herself has been on the island for only four days; she came with an elderly priest to evacuate another clergyman, only to find the Japanese had arrived first. The frightened natives who had brought them to the island left the pair without warning, and the priest died soon after.

In the late 21st century, an interstellar war between humans (associated as the Bilateral Terran Alliance, or BTA) and Dracs (a Hermaphroditic humanoid race) is fought. Battles are periodically fought between fighter spacecraft, and no human pilot hates the Dracs more than Willis E. Davidge (Dennis Quaid).
