Synopsis
Alex Manning (Megan Ward) is a troubled suburban teenager. Her mother committed suicide and the school counselor feels that she has not dealt with her feelings properly. Manning and her friends decide to visit the local video arcade known as "Dante's Inferno" where a new virtual reality arcade game called "Arcade" is being test marketed by a computer company CEO who is more than willing to hand out free samples of the home console version and hype up the game as if his job is depending on it, and it is.Actors

Teenage computer whiz Kyle Baxter (Ethan Randall) enters, and subsequently cheats in a virtual reality version of laser tag(this was due to losing in a round caused by an uninvited player interfering). The prize is a robotic opponent to compete against in a real-world version of the game. When "Evolver" (the robot, voiced by William H. Macy) is first delivered, it appears to be quite simply a toy, but is revealed that whenever Evolver is defeated, he "evolves" up to the next level of the game, becoming smarter, quicker and harder to beat. Kyle, his friend Zach, Jamie, (a girl he met during the competition and lost because of her,) and his sister, Ali (Nassira Nicola) soon begin the first level of the game with Evolver. The first game (Evolver vs. Kyle, Zach, Jamie, and Ali) passes quickly, and all appears to be fine. Later, because Evolver has recording capabilities, Kyle and Zach send Evolver into the girls locker room at their school. However, Evolver is discovered by the girls there and is pushed into the boys locker room, where he switches to game mode. The only occupant, Dwight, a bully jock, meets Evolver, who takes him as an enemy to defeat.

Queen Ma’at finds her kingdom of Abelar under attack when treasure seekers accidentally open the tomb of vampire queen Xia. Set between the events of Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 3, The story follows online reporter Chase Carter and his camerawoman Jordan as they cover the stories of the people inside of the walled-in quarantined area in Oregon, as the government (running an organization called FEZA—Federal Emergency Zombie Authority) attempts to contain a viral outbreak that turns people into ravenous zombies. The film opens with Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) in an Egyptian tomb, seeking a diamond at one end of a chamber. As she approaches she is attacked by a large robot. After an intense chase and battle, she disables it by ripping out its motivational circuits. She takes the diamond, which is revealed to be a memory card labeled "Lara's Party Mix", and inserts it into a laptop computer inside the robot, whereupon it plays music. Now it is revealed that the scene took place in a practice arena in her home, and that her assistant Bryce (Noah Taylor) programmed the robot, SIMON, to challenge her in combat.

In 2065, Earth is infested by alien life forms known as Phantoms. By physical contact Phantoms consume the Gaia spirit of living beings, killing them instantly, though a minor contact may only result in an infection. The surviving humans live in "barrier cities", areas protected by an energy shield that prevents Phantoms from entering, and are engaged in an ongoing struggle to free the planet. After being infected by a Phantom during one of her experiments, Aki Ross (Ming-Na) and her mentor, Doctor Sid (Donald Sutherland), uncover a means of defeating the Phantoms by gathering eight spirit signatures that, when joined, can negate the Phantoms. Aki is searching for the sixth spirit in the ruins of New York City when she is cornered by Phantoms but is rescued by Gray Edwards (Alec Baldwin) and his squad "Deep Eyes", consisting of Ryan Whittaker (Ving Rhames), Neil Fleming (Steve Buscemi) and Jane Proudfoot (Peri Gilpin). It is revealed that Gray was once romantically involved with Aki.
