Arrow Head est un film documentaire français réalisé par Maurice Rebeix, sorti en 1998.

Produit par M6 et Tanka Productions le film est consacré au grimpeur Patrick Edlinger visite les différents sites de l'Ouest américain tel que Joshua Tree (voies et blocs), le Yosemite (blocs), Hueco Tanks (blocs) ainsi que Smith Rock (voies). On le voit notamment évoluer avec des grimpeurs américains.

Le film présente de nombreuses séquences illustrées d'une musique d'inspiration amérindienne signée Benoît Fromanger. Moins connu que les deux films précédents que sont La Vie au bout des doigts et Opéra vertical, il demeure tout de même une référence pour tous les amateurs d'escalade.

La voix off d'Edlinger vient ponctuer de nombreuses séquences. On garde en tête quelques phrases mythiques telles que : « L'escalade, cette chose inutile à laquelle je consacre ma vie. »

Le film démarre par une séance de traversées marines en solo sur le site de la Piade près de Toulon. Dans la seconde partie, Patrick Edlinger s'entraîne à Buoux avant de gravir en solo plusieurs longueurs de ce site d'escalade devenu célèbre. Alors que le montage semble laisser penser qu’il s’agit d’une longue voie extrêmement difficile, ce sont en réalité plusieurs ascensions mises bout-à-bout, Edlinger évitant volontairement des prises pour renforcer l’aspect spectaculaire de ses mouvements. Edlinger grimpe sur la dalle du Golot Fou (voie cotée 6b), le toit de DSF (Dingue Stress Flippe, cotée 6b+), le toit de La Béda (cotée 6a+), et enfin la dernière longueur du Pilier des Fourmis (côtée 7a) à la fin du film.
