Ask Me Anything is a 2014 American drama written and directed by Allison Burnett, based on his novel Undiscovered Gyrl. The film stars Britt Robertson, Justin Long, Martin Sheen, Christian Slater, Robert Patrick, and Max Carver.

Ask Me Anything had its world premiere at the Nashville Film Festival, before it was released on December 19, 2014, by Phase 4 Films theatrically and via video on demand and other online platforms. The film was released on DVD March 3, 2015.

Synopsis

Katie Kampenfelt, a beautiful, funny, free-spirited, lost soul decides to take a year off before attending college. She chronicles her romantic and sexual adventures in an anonymous blog, but as her fearless narrative eventually gives way, dark secrets from her past begin to emerge.

The film opens with Jack Stanfield (Harrison Ford) leaving his house, loving wife Beth (Virginia Madsen) and two children, to his job at Landrock Pacific Bank in downtown Seattle. The day goes smoothly until Jack is visited by a collection agency, claiming that he owes $95,000 in debts to their online gambling site. He trusts a colleague to take care of it (as he is convinced of some form of identity theft, which is later found out to be true and used to later set up Jack with a motive for robbing the bank) and goes out for dinner with colleague Harry Romano (Robert Forster) and potential employer, Bill Cox (Paul Bettany). After the meal, Harry leaves in a taxi and Jack gets in his car. Unexpectedly, Cox follows him into the back seat. Cox then goes on to tell Jack that his family is being held hostage at their home to ensure Jack's cooperation. He then points a gun to Jack's head and forces him to drive home.

In desperation, Boyd stabs the guard to death and the group is forced to dismember the bodies before taking them to the desert for burial.

When freshman Trixie Stone (Brittany Robertson) accuses her ex-boyfriend Jason Underhill (Jamie Johnston) of raping her, everyone is quick to take his side when he claims their intercourse was consensual. Trixie's parents, Daniel (Ron Eldard), a mild mannered comic book artist from a harsh background, and Laura (Kelly Preston), a college professor of literature sleeping with one of her students, become involved. After questioning Trixie and conducting a blood test it is revealed that Trixie was drugged, and people begin to believe that she was really raped. Jason, whose life is supposedly ruined, leaps from a bridge. Although first presumed to be suicide, Trixie and her father are later suspected of pushing him off the bridge. After the police call Daniel requesting blood samples from him and Trixie to compare to blood found under Jason's fingernails, he attempts to flee with her in his car but is soon stopped by the police, and he then tells Trixie that he was the one who pushed Jason off the bridge.
