Synopsis
Tino Dossi (Beniamino Gigli), a wealthy, famous, and older opera singer, is grieving over the terrible loss of his wife, a devoted French woman. Each year, he travels to Paris to visit her grave, but one year he is forced to go a concert his manager has arranged. While enjoying the concert, his manager visits a seedy night club and, while drunk, tells a cabaret entertainer, and her lover, that the singer is very unhappy and also wealthy.Actors

Renate Heiberg vit à Wasserburg am Inn et rêve de devenir photographe. Un jour, un pilote italien fait un atterrissage d'urgence. Renate saisit la chance, elle fait des photos. Le correspondant Rolf Bergmann la met en contact avec un journal de Berlin qui lui achète ses photos. Elles paraissent en une, Renate gagne 600 reichsmarks. Encouragée, la jeune femme s'en va vivre à Berlin et essaie d'obtenir un emploi avec plusieurs journaux. Mais elle essuie des refus. Seul le Berolina-Press l'engage. Seulement la première commande de Renate est un échec ; à cause d'un malentendu, les photos d'une course cycliste arrivent trop tard à la rédaction et ne correspondent plus aux exigences de la rédaction. Renate est renvoyé, puis elle rencontre son collègue Klaus Nolte, qui a déjà une réputation. Il soutient Renate et lui trouve un appartement.

In 1874 Australia, newly installed Police Inspector Radford boasts to wealthy Hugh Clarkson that he will capture the famous outlaw Stingaree, who has returned to the area. Hilda Bouverie is an impoverished servant working for the Clarksons. Mr. Clarkson is kind, but his wife treats Hilda and Annie, another servant, as menials. Mrs. Clarkson is excited by the news that Sir Julian Kent, a renowned British composer, is going to be her guest. She dreams of performing before him and becoming an opera star, but her singing is not good. Hilda begs to be allowed to sing as well, but Mrs. Clarkson turns her down. Meanwhile, Sir Julian stops over at a tavern, where Radford and his colleagues are drinking. When Stingaree enters, the policemen are suspicious of the stranger; he is searched, but no weapon is found. His sidekick Howie follows, only he is armed. They abduct Sir Julian. Unaware of this, Mrs. Clarkson goes off to meet Sir Julian.

The story follows Aarush, (Akshay Kumar), a 'Panauti' who works in bar and gets money as people lose games of poker. After being rejected from getting married by a girl he goes to London to stay for some time with his best friend, Bob (Ritesh Deshmukh) and his wife, Hetal (Lara Dutta), both working at a casino owned by Mr.Kishore Samtani (Randhir Kapoor). Elvis Presley, bored with his confined existence in Graceland, leaves his home on his own for the first time since he was 21. He winds up in California and is convinced by an Anti-war activist that he is responsible for the counterculture through his influence on The Beatles. This convinces Elvis to write a letter to President Nixon asking to be made a "Federal Agent at Large" for the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. No such position actually exists, but Nixon, wanting desperately to win over the youth of America, which he views as hating him, decides to meet with Elvis in an attempt to improve his image with the "kids".
