French financier Paul Reynard (Rathbone) is sentenced to a ten-year term in a South American penal colony for bank fraud. Inspector Zenigata travels to Castle Dracula to confirm reports of the execution of his long-time nemesis, Arsène Lupin III. However, the body he finds is a decoy that is being used by another Lupin to escape from the castle.
