The film was released on VHS as House Of Psychotic Women, and was shown on television as House of Doom (edited).
Synopsis
The story concerns a drifter named Gilles (Naschy) who arrives in a French village looking for work. He soon gets a lift from a woman named Claude (Lorys) who sports a prosthetic hand, hiding a gruesome deformity. She gives him a job as a handyman at a large house owned by her and her two sisters: nymphomaniac redhead Nicole (Leon) and wheelchair-using Yvette (Perschy). Soon after he sets up doing chores around the grounds, Nicole takes a strong interest in him and Claude voices her disgust, while Yvette is tended to by a doctor and nurse. As these domestic events occur, a black-gloved killer is murdering blue-eyed women and gouging out their eyes, dropping them into a jar of water. Before too long Gilles is painted as a top suspect, due to a shady past involving his abuse of a former girlfriend, and the authorities pursue him.Actors

Horror Rises From The Tomb démarre en France au quinzième siècle. When the wealthy count Waldemar Daninsky kills a wolf on his grounds, it transforms into a gypsy upon death, and he finds himself cursed by a vengeful gypsy witch who is angry about him killing one of her band. The witch orders a young, beautiful gypsy girl to seduce Daninsky and then, while he is sleeping, bite him with the skull of a wolf which she smuggles into the count's mansion. When she presses the skull's fangs into his skin, Waldemar becomes a werewolf (without a doubt the most original of all of Waldemar's various "origins" in the series).

Wolfgang Gotho, un misérable bossu, est employé à la morgue de l'hôpital de Feldkirch, en Allemagne. Alors qu'Orla installe son laboratoire dans d'anciennes galeries secrètes, Gotho, motivé par la promesse du savant, se transforme en tueur sanguinaire. Lorsqu'il découvre qu'il est manipulé par Orla, ce dernier réussit à donner vie à une créature vivante, à l'aide du Necronomicon, mais elle a faim et finit par exiger de la chair fraiche.

The story revolves around an early 20th century theatre troupe in Paris specializing in gory, naturalistic horror plays in the fashion of the Grand Guignol.
