It is based on Japanese shōjo manga series, Boys Over Flowers (花より男子, Hana Yori Dango), written by Yoko Kamio. It is the first live-action movie adaptation, starring Yuki Uchida as the main character of Makino Tsukushi.
Synopsis
Makino Tsukushi réside au premier étage d'une maisonnée à l'allure campagnarde. La voici qui se prépare, salue ses voisins du rez-de-chaussée et elle part pour l'université Eïtoku. Là bas, elle se fait d'ores et déjà remarquer par ses nouveaux camarades. Loin de s'habiller en Prada, Gucci ou autre Hermès, Makino ne possède pas de vêtements de marque, ni d'accessoires significatifs. En effet, elle n'appartient pas à la même classe sociale que les élèves habitués d'Eïtoku, élèves issus de la classe bourgeoise.Actors

À Paris, après avoir remporté la compétition internationale de musique Platini, Chiaki est engagé comme chef de l'orchestre Roux-Marlet. Cependant, il est très vite choqué par leur manque de motivation. Pendant ce temps, Nodame, Frank, Tanya et Kuroki s'entraînent durement au Conservatoire de Paris afin de préparer leurs examens finaux. Chiaki appelle par conséquent à Nodame afin qu'elle effectue quelques remplacements au piano pour lui, ce qui ne manque pas de la décourager. Un sentiment qui ne fait que s'accroître tandis que Rui Son prend une importance au sein du Conservatoire suite à une coïncidence inattendue. Alors que la date de la prochaine performance de l'orchestre Roux-Marlet approche à grands pas, Chiaki ne se doute pas du terrible destin qui l'attend.

Every student cheats using various methods. Kenji Kimura (Tatsuya Yamaguchi) on the other hand aims to go and do research under the great Professor Namazuda and doesn't cheat.
