Cab Number 13 (Italian: Il fiacre n. 13) is a 1948 drama film directed by Mario Mattoli and starring Vera Carmi.

Synopsis

La machiavélique Claudia, pour assurer sa fortune auprès de Monsieur Vaudieu de la Tour, supprime le frère aîné de son amant et subtilise son enfant. Le gosse est adopté par un cocher de fiacre, et, plus tard, devenu secrétaire du ministre de la Justice, découvre le pot aux roses, fait punir les méchants, récompense les bons et épouse la fille d'un autre innocent, injustement accusé par Claudia.

Le film décrit les relations de trois amis inséparables, Marco, Mario et Filippo, élèves de l'Accademia Aeronautica de Caserte. Marco rencontre Adriana, sœur de Mario. Après la guerre, les trois pilotes se retrouvent et Mario, rassuré par le comportement de Marco au combat, ne s'oppose plus à l'idylle de celui-ci avec sa sœur Adriana.
