The movie is a sequel to Class of 1999, but does not contain many story links to that movie except inserted footage from "flashback"-sequences, and a vague reference to previous happenings in the plot.
Synopsis
In this sequel to the 1990 movie Class of 1999, the setting is still a violent future metropolis where gangs rule the hallways and themes like education and higher learning are a mere memory. Jenna McKenzie is a young, sweet high school teacher who witnesses the killing of one of her students by gang member Sanders. Jenna wants to testify, so Sanders and his thugs try to intimidate her with threats and even going as far as to try to rape her. The principal cannot suspend Sanders without definite proof of wrongdoing, the cops have no evidence and Jenna's boyfriend Emmett wants to deal with Sanders himself, but Jenna does not want him to do that. Jenna starts to question whether or not suspending Sanders will improve the educational system or not. Enter John Bolen, a substitute teacher who believes in extremely strict discipline. Jenna takes a liking to him and feels she has found a friend who is willing to listen to her problems. John teaches Jenna that students should not be allowed to gain control of any situation in the classroom and that she must have a firm hand when it comes to teaching students. When Sanders and his gang try again to harm Jenna, John shows up in the nick of time and defends her from harm. John realises that Sanders and his crew have no respect for the faculty and decides to kill the gang members one by one. Then, Emmett and the local sheriff learn that an ex-C.I.A. operative named Gordon Ash is in town and is tailing John. It turns out that John is not an ordinary teacher after all: it seems that he believes he is the last of a group of cybernetic fighting machines who are programmed to teach students and discipline those who misbehave. But, in reality is only a human ex-soldier wearing body armor. As it happens, Sanders and his group are at the top of John's "Termination" list. But then, John starts to malfunction and starts to target almost everyone for termination, even Jenna.Actors

Neo and Bane lie unconscious in the medical bay of the ship Hammer. Six months after the events of the first film, Neo and Trinity are now lovers. Morpheus receives a message from Captain Niobe of the Logos calling an emergency meeting of all of Zion's ships. Zion has confirmed the last transmission of the Osiris: an army of Sentinels is tunneling towards Zion and will reach it within 72 hours. Commander Lock orders all ships to return to Zion to prepare for the onslaught, but Morpheus asks one ship to remain in order to contact the Oracle. The Caduceus receives a message from the Oracle, and the Nebuchadnezzar ventures out so Neo can contact her. One of the Caduceus crew, Bane, encounters Agent Smith, who takes over Bane's avatar. Prior to the events of the film, a scientist is ordered by his dictator to create a machine in the apparent name of progress. The Scientist uses his own intellect to create the B.R.A.I.N., a thinking robot. However, the dictator quickly seizes it and integrates it into the Fabrication Machine, an armature that can construct an army of war machines to destroy the dictator's enemies. After Robocop 2, Detroit is on the verge of bankruptcy after a series of failed business plans and drop of stocks, and are now struggling with their plans to create the new Delta City. The year is 2078. The planet Sirius 6B, once a thriving mining hub, has been reduced to a toxic wasteland by a civil war between the mining company, known as the New Economic Block (NEB), and the Alliance, a group of former mining and science personnel. Five years into the war, Alliance scientists created and deployed Autonomous Mobile Swords (AMS) — artificially intelligent self-replicating machines that hunt down and kill NEB soldiers on their own. They are nicknamed "screamers" because of a high-pitched noise they emit as they attack. Screamers track targets by their heartbeats, so Alliance soldiers wear "tabs" which broadcast a signal canceling out the wearer's heartbeat and rendering them "invisible" to the machines.

An infamous hacker called Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) is cornered in an abandoned hotel by police.
