Synopsis
Madhuri, Vicky and Akash study together in college. Akash, whose father is a minister, tries to woo her but she falls for Akash. Vicky introduces her to drugs through another girl. She becomes an addict. Akash contests against Vicky in the student elections and wins. Furious Vicky rapes Madhuri. Her brother blames her and is reluctant to file a police complaint. Her sister-in-law, however, decides to go to police when Akash assures to stand by Madhuri. The police inspector tips off the minister before registering the case. The minister tries to persuade her not to go ahead with the complaint but when she rebuffs him go on to rape her too and get both her and her husband killed. The court too absolves Vicky of the charge. Madhuri, with the help of Akash, takes revenge by taking on Vikcy, the minister and their accomplices, one by one.Actors

This movie begins with an image of star, Alex Ramos. Pooja has been brought up by her grandparents, and has no recollection of her mom and dad. She is told by her grandpa, Kantaprasad, that her dad had died. Years later, Pooja has now grown up. She starts getting mysterious phone calls from a male who merely says "I love you", and hangs-up. When her grandpa has these phone calls traced, the caller is Anand, Pooja's dad. Kantaprasad has him beaten up, and warns him against contacting Pooja again. When Pooja is being molested by a male in her apartment building, Anand comes to her rescue, and it is then Pooja comes to know that this shabby, alcoholic man is her dad. Slowly as the story progresses, more facts about the reason of his alcoholism come to light, and he is able to overcome them eventually with the help of Pooja's love and her support.

A cruel and evil landowner Jaganath Singh (Dilip Kumar) is murdered and his twin brother Amarnath Singh (also Dilip Kumar) decides to investigate. He finds the list of suspects is endless. The prime suspects are Jaganath's son Amar (Mukul Dev), Jaganath's abused wife Suman (Smita Jaykar) and a woman named Yamini (Rekha) who claims she was raped by Jaganath. Eventually Jaganath's son Amar confesses to killing his father. He reveals that on the night of his father's death he accidentally shot him while trying to fight him off when Jagannath held Amar and his mother at gunpoint. Soon after the list of suspects grow after it is discovered that Jaganath's had many more enemies who could have killed him including landowner Mangal Singh (Gulshan Grover) and even Jaganath's own brother Amarnath who doesn't seem to have got on well with Jaganath himself in the past.

Dastak is the story of a mentally unstable genius (Sharad Kapoor) and his obsession for the Miss Universe (Sushmita Sen). Sharad is so obsessed with Sushmita that he starts killing her near and dear ones in order to get to her. Eventually he kidnaps Sushmita and takes her to a distant isolated island in Seychelles. Roop Rathore (Shahrukh Khan) is a singer in Bombay just like his father (Anupam Kher), who is now sick and needs immediate medical care. One day, while he is singing at Ajay Narang's (Naseeruddin Shah) hotel, Ajay's sister Reshma (Ramya Krishnan) falls in love with Roop. Reshma is a spoiled girl and Ajay looks through all of her wishes. Unfortunately, Roop is in love with a doctor named Pooja (Pooja Bhatt). Meanwhile, Reshma is obsessed with Roop, and asks her brother to call him again to sing in their hotel. But when she sees that all the girls are flattered over Roop, she gets very angry, and asks him to sing only for her now onwards. But Roop would rather work for rival Patel (Shri Vallabh Vyas) than take this offer. Ajay's obsession with keeping his sister happy at all costs comes into play and Patel is brutally beaten by him until he agrees to throw Roop out of his hotel. Desperately in need of money for his father's operation, Roop has no option but to agree to Reshma. Roop breaks up with Pooja.
