Synopsis

On April 6, 2001, Anne Sluti (Sara Canning), an all-American 17-year-old from Ravenna, Nebraska, is seen running on a track at her high school as her boyfriend, Gary, and her best friend, Paige, watch. Gary gives Anne a teddy bear for their anniversary. Anne then departs with her best friend, but before she does so, she promises Gary that she'll pick up his CD at the mall. At home, Anne is surprised to see that her older brother, Tom (Brian Edward Roach), is on leave from the military. Anne's mother, Elaine (Diana Reis), presents Anne with her acceptance letter from college. Anne is excited and says she wants to tell Gary and Paige; her dad (Tom Anniko) gives her money to pick up the CD. Anne is next seen exiting the mall. Suddenly, when she is about to get into her car, Tony Zappa (James Van Der Beek) comes up behind her and drags her to his car. Anne begins screaming as onlookers call 911; Anne escapes from the car as Tony punches her in the stomach, throws Anne in the car, and drives off.

Hannah (Rachel Hendrix) is a 19-year-old college freshman who suffers from epilepsy, asthma and depression. On the verge of her theatrical debut in a university play, she suddenly collapses on stage. After a variety of tests, Hannah meets with her parents (John Schneider and Jennifer Price) and a doctor from the hospital where her father works. The doctor quotes passages from Hannah's journal that reveal that she has been feeling lost and unwanted. In this fourth installment of the erotic mystery-thriller series and set once again in the fictional south Florida city of Blue Bay, Carson Wheetly (Ashley Parker Angel) is the wealthy and spoiled son of millionaire NASCAR car racer Ted Wheetly (Cameron Daddo). A few days later, Ted dies during a race and the police get involved when Detective Frank Walker (John Schneider) investigates Ted's death which happened under questionable circumstances. Ted's lawyer, George Stuben (Ethan S. Smith), suddenly announces during the reading of the will that Carson cannot inherit Ted's money and estate until he marries. Carson quickly gets married to Rachel, and inherits. Carson and Rachel decide to kill the two other women and keep all the money for themselves. However, Rachel, along with Brandi and Linda, are also plotting to kill Carson so that Rachel can inherit as a grieving widow and split the money three ways. Rachel does murder Carson and inherits his money. Rather than split the money, Rachel plots to murder Brandi, as well as Linda, to keep all of the inheritance money for herself. Brandi, anticipating that Rachel might do just that, plots a scheme of her own to kill Rachel. However, Linda has an agenda of her own to steal the money for herself, along with her shadowy partner-in-crime who is the mastermind behind everything.

Corporate real estate tycoon Hamilton Lux (Armand Assante) sets his sights on developing the quaint seaside town of Full Moon Bay into a prime getaway for the wealthy, but runs into some unexpected problems. Daniel, his marine biologist brother and a concerned E.P.A. agent must expose Lux's plan and rid the area of the chemically-altered sharks before the town's entire population is devoured by hungry sharks.
