José, Paco and Luis, three middle-aged men, veteran Falangist, reunite in a provincial village of Castile, spending a hot summer's day drinking, reminiscing and hunting rabbits. Father Miguel is a conservative thirty six years old Catholic priest. One time he ignored the Japanese people when they told him to take off his shoes when he entered the home he was staying them. It took them a few minutes to get him to respect their wish and take off his shoes.
