Dead Man Running is a 2009 British crime film directed by Alex De Rakoff, written by De Rakoff and John Luton, and starring Tamer Hassan and Danny Dyer. Football players Ashley Cole and Rio Ferdinand served as executive producers.
Synopsis
After an increasing number of his clients fail to make good on their payments, Mr. Thigo (Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson) decides to take matters into his own hands, travelling to London to make an example of debtor Nick (Tamer Hassan). Thigo gives Nick just 24 hours to pay back the £100,000 he owes, and, just to make sure, Thigo holds Nick's wheelchair-using mother (Brenda Blethyn) hostage. Since Nick is already financially challenged, he is forced to be creative in order to come up with the money. At the same time, Thigo sabotages Nick's efforts in order to be sure that he can make an example of Nick to the other debtors.Actors

Small town Cop Michael Savion (Luke Goss) gets stone-walled by big city detectives led by Hardwick (50 Cent) when he asks them to investigate his younger brother's death. The film is narrated by Frankie (Dyer), a young everyman living in South East London during the Thatcher era of the 1980s, with little hope of ever making anything of himself, yet he dreams of "being somebody" and escaping his lonely, dreary lifestyle. The film begins with two cars racing in the middle of the desert. Biker Cary Ford (Martin Henderson) pulls up on his motorcycle and tries to pass them. He finally does so and stops at a diner which his old girlfriend Shane (Monet Mazur) owns. There are pictures all over the wall of Ford and Shane back when they were together. Ford takes one of the pictures. He then goes back outside and the two punks who didn't let him pass show up. The three get into a fight but Ford beats up both of them.
