This story is dependent on the mother sentiment. The story is very simple. Hero’s mother lived a very royal life in a great palace as her husband was Jameendar that time. But later she lost her property due to some circumstances and she also lost her husband. And left that palace along with 2 year old kid (Ali).From that moment, she has been living a normal life. One fine day, Ali happens to listen the entire story of her mother and decides there itself to make his mother happy by purchasing the same palace for her mother. So he does lots of mischievous things to earn money. Bringing Yamadharmaraja, lord of Naraka, to Earth is part of that. The story ends up with a good climax. The comedy scenes of Yama(Satyanarayana) and chitragupta(Bramhanandham) are most hilarious. Their conversation with the local police is most memorable hilarious comedy. Music is excellent. This movie is musical hit. All songs in this movie have become most popular. This is also a good movie for children. Totally, this is a good family entertainment.

The movie starts with a panchayati scene under a tree in a village where RGR,the village head, judges a dispute between Mukkamala and a Rowdy.Mukkamala, a resident of the village, leaves it in some unknowncircumstances and returns to the village after 15 years. He learns that hisproperty (house) was owned illegally by a Rowdy and he is not willing togive the proprty back to Mukkamala. And hence the Panchayati.As usual, RGR (the Villain) supports the Rowdy and does injustice toMukkamala. Having no enough power to face the Rowdy or the village head, heagain leaves the village.

Ramu (Venkatesh) leads a carefree life, living along with his widowed mother in a village. He was in love with Usha (Rambha), daughter of Dharmaiah (Gollapudi Maruti Rao), village president. He often involves in petty quarrels with Bujjulu (Ali), son of Kobbarikayala Subbaiah who happens to be brother-in-law of Dharmaiah. Manchi Donga, has Chiranjeevi as Veerendra who liked by one and all. Even though he is a thief, Veerendra he follows certain principles. Suryam and Chandram are father and son who are involved in an illegal occupation. Madhavi (Suhasini) who is a lawyer, meets Veerendra and she is attracted towards him for his kindheartedness towards poor people. Vijaya (Vijayasanthi), a friend of Madhavi enters the city as a police inspector. She warns Veerendra for his activities but Madhavi supports him. Once Veerendra steals an evidence from Gannayya, who is also a corrupt person and this has all the details of the activities of Suryam and Chandram. He hands it over to inspector Vijaya. She is very much impressed with his deed and now develops a soft corner for him. After a couple of songs, veerendra decides to marry Vijaya, while Madhavi sacrifices her silent love for her friend. Veerendra surrenders to the police and is sent to jail. He studies in jail and becomes a police inspector. After his release, he deals with anti-social elements with iron hand and also gets sword of honour for his efforts.
