The films centers on the relationship between a Civil guard and his heroine addict son who falls in an escalating life of crime. El Pico 2 is a follow-up to El pico which was more successful. Drugs, delinquency, generational problems and the underworld of heroin are the themes of the two films.
Synopsis
Paco, a young drug addict, recently mourning the death of his best friend from a heroine overdose, is unable to overcome his addiction on his own. Withdrawal is too painful for Paco, who is under the watchful eye of his severe but concerned widower father, Evaristo Torrecuadrada, a civil guard commandant. To find a detox treatment for Paco, father and son move to Madrid. They are welcome in the household of Paco's feisty grandmother who lives with her faithful old maid, Adela. Both women naively believe that Paco ailment is diabetes completely unaware of his drug addiction.Actors

Marcos, an important businessman working in Madrid, is wealthy, ambitious and has political aspirations. On top of it, he has a beautiful wife, Diana. José Manuel Gomez Perales alias "El Jaro" is a fifteen year old with a long criminal record that includes among other things: 29 escapes from reformatories and three wounds in confrontations with the police. Father Miguel is a conservative thirty six years old Catholic priest. In the changing Spain of 1966 Miguel’s religious community tries to implement the doctrines given by the Second Vatican Council and adapt to the new realities of the country. Father Miguel opposes any form of religious modernization. He clashes with Father Luis, a fellow priest of his community who employs more modern tactics of religious instruction. His sexuality is further aroused by Antonia, a beautiful married woman in her thirties, who in her confessions tells father Miguel about her intense sexual encounters with her husband. Antonia’s confessions disturb father Miguel even more. He thinks about sex all the time to the point of impairing his work as a priest.
