Synopsis
Enemmy follows daredevil CID officers against an underworld don. Four under cover cops Eklavya (Sunil Shetty), Naeem (Kay Kay Menon), Madhav (Mahaakshay Chakraborty) and Eric (Johny Lever) get the assignment to stop a gang war over a missing sum of money.They manage to put under world don Mukhtar Memon (Zakir Hussain) behind the bars but that doesn't solve the problem. Later, a senior CBI officer Yugantar (Mithun Chakraborty) starts investigating the case.Actors

The film starts with an old man, named Mr. Singh (Mithun Chakraborty), narrating a story to an old woman as her memory is slipping day by day. Mr. Singh tells about young lovers Siddharth and Anjali, played by Aseem Ali Khan and Priyanka Mehta, respectively. Anjali is a rich girl, but Siddharth is a poor man's son. Anjali's father (Dalip Tahil) disapproves this affair and takes the daughter away. Dejected Siddharth starts writing letters to her. He writes 365 letters in that entire year, but never hears from Anjali. She believes that he has forgotten her. Years pass and Anjali could not find Siddharth, so she eventually plans to settle down with another man. But destiny had other ideas and the two lovers meet again. As the flashback ends, the film goes back to the elder couple. The old woman realizes that Mr. Singh was telling the story about their own love story, and her memories of the past come rushing back. Mr. Singh is briefly happy, but his wife's memory leaves again.

The film is the story of Govind Narang (Sunil Shetty), an honest and chivalrous man from a small village in Punjab. He falls in love with Sudha (Sushmita Sen), but marries Masterji's daughter, Pushpa (Suman Ranganathan), to save her from public ridicule. Pushpa was impregnated by a police officer who refuses to marry her. She does not love Govind and hates Sudha with a passion. Together with her brother, Laxman (Sharad Kapoor), Pushpa tries to expel Sudha from of the village, but is unsuccessful. When Laxman finds out about Pushpa's infidelity, he poisons her. After his wife's death, Govind relocates to Mumbai with his sister, Ratna (Shraddha Nigam). He meets beautiful Gitika (Namrata Shirodkar) and they fall in love. One day, as Govind defends the honor of a young girl from the brother of a hoodlum, Johnny Handsome (Sharat Saxena), he generates hatred and animosity. Johnny is humiliated by Govind and swears vengeance with the help of Sadanand Kutty (Gulshan Grover) and Karim Khan Toofani (Govind Namdeo). On the other hand, Govind befriends Ram Sevak (Alok Nath), and with his help and assistance of a landowner arranges the purchase of a large plot of land so that hawkers and small shop-owners could set up their businesses. But nothing goes according to plan. The plot of land and the owner turn out to be fake, Ram Sevak turns out to be in hand with the gangsters, and Govind gets all the blame; His sister is openly raped, and Govind himself gets seriously wounded, in broad daylight before the very eyes of the people he defended. Govind is then helped by Sudha, and he decides to teach everyone a lesson. He files an FIR against everyone in the neighbourhood who witnessed what happened to his sister except the culprits themseleves. When they are brought to court, he condemns everyone for their attitude, and then tells them to be brave and fight goondaism. Encouraged by this, the entire neighborhood decides to take on the gang. They attack the gangsters with bottles when they come to threaten them in the locality, and then move on to Johnny handsome's office, breaking everything and attacking all the goons. In join Govind and Sudha to attack the gangsters and arrest them. The criminals are sentenced and everything returns to normal. In the end, though on a happy note, Govind's sister marries a close friend of the family, and Govind agrees to marry Sudha.

On or about 12 May 2000, a truck gets stolen in Los Angeles, and the police bring in six men of South Asian origin for questioning. They are: Yashvardhan Rampal, known as 'Major' educated intelligent, unemployed, with an ailing wife who longs to return to India; Non-English speaking Jay Rehan, otherwise known as 'Ajju', a foul-mouthed, trigger-happy gangster; A out-of-work former nightclub bouncer, Marc Issak, whose girlfriend, Lisa, is a bar dancer, and who is known to get into fights due to his uncontrollable temper; A drug dealer, Raj Yadav, otherwise known as Bali, foul-mouthed, womanizer, stutterer, and alcoholic; Bali's sidekick, Maqbool Haider, otherwise known as Mac; White-collared Anand Mathur, alias Andy, recently separated from his wife, Renu, and longing to get back together with his son, who he cannot get custody of due to financial problems. The six confer in a cell, cite woes that even though the Italians have their Mafia, the Colombians have their Cartels, but the East Indian criminal community is yet to forge a Bhai-type organization, resulting in their getting pulled in as the usual suspects every time there is a crime involving a colored person. They plot to get back at the cops by robbing the American Services Bank, perhaps the only bank which has a majority of its clientele employed by the city police. They plan and carry out this caper quite successfully, but when they exit the bank, they find themselves surrounded by the police. After a shoot-out, They do manage to escape and meet in a secret hideout, to not only share the loot, but also try and find out who betrayed them. Ajju abducts police interrogator, Detective MacQuarrie, and it is through him they learn that their informer is one of them – and they must find out his identity, kill him, then divide the loot amongst them and disperse. The only problem is the informer is not willing to come forward – and the gangsters end up suspecting each other and their respective motives.

Arjun Poojari lives in a small village with his mother, father and unmarried sister. The entire village is ruled by Bade Thakur Jagawar Choudhry and the Villagers are grateful for all the work he has done for the village. One day Arjun finds out that Jagawar's younger brother Vikram, had attempted to molest his sister, So he beats Vikram and takes him to Jagawar. In front of everyone, Jagawar slaps him and asks him to seek forgiveness from Arjun and his sister. But the same night, Arjun is summoned to Jagawar's house and in his presence, Arjun's sister is sexually assaulted and raped by all Choudhry brothers, including Yogeshwar, Virendra, and Vishal. Arjun revolts and turns a dreaded Dacoit and his only mission is to kill all the Choudhry brothers. Now Vishal Choudhry becomes a Police Inspector and is transferred in that Village, but is not able to stop Arjun killing Vikram. As the brothers were in shock, Arjun also kills Vishal. Thus the brothers seek police protection and hires a hit-man named Devaa - a dangerous man who would never fail in his mission.

Judge Pratap Sinha (Jeetendra) is a renowned judge who does not pass judgement by sitting down on the judge's chair but he himself investigates and bring the criminals to their fate. This worshiped of law has a wife Sujata (Sujata Mehta) who is a very famous lawyer. He also has a sister Ashwini (Ashwini Bhave) who is a brave police officer. The city's Mafia Don D.V.M's (Kiran Kumar) brother Jaggi commits a gruesome murder of a lady journalist Bharti. He is arrested and tried by judge Pratap Sinha who passes a death sentence on Jaggi. One day while judge Pratap was going to the court he sees Sunil (Sunil Shetty) stabbing one man to death. With Pratap as witness he tells Ashwini to arrest Sunil, who gets shocked because Sunil is her lover. The court sentences Sunil to death. In jail Sunil meets notorious criminal Mangal (Mukesh Khanna), who is Pratap Sinha's enemy. Before Sunil is hanged, D.V.M. tells judge Pratap that Sunil is innocent and that D.V.M. himself had trapped Sunil. Judge Pratap is stunned as if a lightening had struck him. To save the respect of the law Pratap has to break the law. He runs away with Sunil from jail.
