Synopsis
George, qui s'appelle en réalité Georgina, mais qui préfèrerait être un garçon, reçoit pendant les vacances la visite de ses cousins Julian et Dick et de sa cousine Anne. La fille excentrique n'a vraiment aucun désir pour cette connexion familiale forcée. Elle préfère aller avec son père Quentin à l'île rocheuse, où il aimerait développer davantage l'utilisation technique de la photosynthèse pour la production d'énergie dans son laboratoire secret. Ce n'est que lorsque les trois vacanciers libèrent Timmy, le chien de George, d'une grotte qu'elle se fait des amis avec eux. Dans cette caverne, ils découvrent une cachette avec une radio et entendent une conversation qui suggère que le père Georges va être kidnappé et son invention volée. Quand ils reviennent avec la police du village, toutes les traces sont enlevées. Par conséquent, les quatre enfants ensemble avec leur ami animal Timmy enquêtent par leurs propres moyens. In Muromachi period Japan, an Emishi village is attacked by a demon. The last Emishi prince, Ashitaka, kills the demon before it reaches the village, but its corruption curses his arm in the battle. The curse gives him superhuman fighting abilities, but will eventually kill him. The villagers discover that the demon was once a boar god, Nago, corrupted by an iron ball lodged in his body. Brothers Walter (Josh Hutcherson) and Danny (Jonah Bobo) can never seem to get along with each other, or with their older teen-aged sister, Lisa (Kristen Stewart). While staying at their divorced father's home while he is away at work and Lisa is asleep, the boys discover an old clockwork-driven space-themed board game called "Zathura" in the basement. The two begin to play the game, the goal to be the first to reach the final space named Zathura. During each turn, the game provides a card with instructions, but the two quickly realize the cards affect reality, starting with a meteor shower. They soon discover the house is floating on a small rock in outer space. Meanwhile, Lisa looks out the window, and believing it is merely dark, goes to shower for her date. When the boys try to warn Lisa about what has happened, they find she is frozen in cryonic sleep as a result of one of the cards. The brothers realize that the only way to end the game and hopefully return to Earth is to reach the end space of Zathura.

Tom and Jerry have wrecked the house they lived in during a frantic Tom-Jerry-esque chase, so they enter a race/reality show titled the "Fabulous Super Race", which offers the race-winner a luxurious mansion. A decade after the events of the first film, Dr. Arthur Neuman is giving a tour of the hall of Norse mythology in Edge City Museum. When Dr. Neuman reaches the part concerning Loki's mask, a man in black becomes increasingly anxious. Dr. Neuman mentions that Loki created the mask and unleashed it on Earth, and that those who wear the mask would have the powers of Loki. When Dr. Neuman mentions that Odin punished Loki with imprisonment, the stranger becomes very angry and transforms, revealing himself to be Loki. The tourists panic and flee, but Dr. Neuman stays to argue with the angry god. Loki takes the mask, but realizes it is a fake. In anger, he removes Dr. Neuman's still talking face from his body and puts it on the mask stand, before getting rid of the guards and storming out of the museum in a whirlwind of rage.
