Literature graduate Wyman Chan (Chapman To) writes erotic stories in the soft porn section of the newspaper for a living, but with the soft porn section ceasing publication, he loses his job. The unemployed Chan becomes capricious, and takes inspiration from men working in the Japanese adult video (AV) industry to become a producer of pornographic films. Chan's idea immediately receives enthusiastic responses from his friends, who offer their help—especially Hatoyama (Josie Ho), who is familiar with the Japanese porn industry. While everyone initially takes great interest in being a part of filming, Chan is soon forced into acting in the lead role. Surprisingly, Chan becomes a sensation in Japan for his performance of being sexually harassed and dominated by women in the AV. Hatoyama immediately travels to Hong Kong to persuade Chan to pursue his unrealistic dream—a Hong Kong man entering the Japanese AV industry.

Samir, un jeune immigré maghrébin en situation irrégulière en France, vient de perdre le travail au noir qui lui assurait sa subsistance. The Flemish boys Lars, Philip and Jozef are somewhere between 20 and 30 years of age and each has a physical handicap. Jozef is almost blind and needs to use a magnifier. Philip suffers from paraplegia. He can only move his head and can use one hand which gives him the strength to control his automated wheelchair. Lars has an incurable brain tumor a side effect of which is that he is restricted to a wheelchair as a result of his increasing paralysis. The three are good friends and visit each other frequently.

In a pornographic take-off of Shaw's play Pygmalion (and its derivative My Fair Lady), the film is about a sexologist who tries transforming a low-skilled prostitute into a goddess of passion. While he tries to prepare her to seduce a homosexual artist, it is he for whom she develops feelings. In this film, Henry Higgins (of Pygmalion) is replaced by Dr. Seymour Love, the sexologist, played by Jamie Gillis. Eliza Doolittle (of Pygmalion) becomes Dolores "Misty" Beethoven, who is played by Constance Money, and Colonel Pickering becomes Geraldine Rich, played by Jacqueline Beudant. During the film, Misty achieves "elevation" better than Love and Rich had hoped but then cuts them off, as in George Bernard Shaw's play. However, this film then sees Misty return, take over for Dr. Love, and run the "school". Dr. Love is present but in a very subservient position. It is clearly Misty that is in charge by this time.

The plot follows Captain Pantaleón Pantoja, a straightlaced army captain put in charge of creating a brothel for the army, in order to reduce the incidence of rape surrounding army bases and outposts. The film focuses on Kinta, a member of the Himori Yakuza, who has been put in charge of the gang's pork distribution and his girlfriend Haruko, who works at a bar. Kinta is shown working with other gangsters, beating up a local shopkeep who caters to Americans and paying the people who work on the hog farm. When Kinta goes to visit Haruko in the afternoon she leaves without speaking to him and Kinta finds out through her sister that Haruko is being paid 30000 yen to go on a date with a sailor (and that her mother has already spent the money). Haruko returns to Kinta later that night, although Kinta is unhappy because of the earlier events. Haruko reveals that she is pregnant and expresses her concerns about Kinta’s work.

Bernard est en instance de divorce. Sur les bancs du tribunal où il attend pour la prononciation de la séparation, il croise un vieil ami d'enfance, Nicolas, qui tient un club de rencontres et distribue des tracts publicitaires de son club aux futurs divorcés. Il accompagne son ami retrouvé à son club, et s'occupera de lui pour qu'il retrouve l'âme sœur. Parallèlement, Nicolas est marié mais en grand séducteur il n'est pas du tout fidèle, et a du mal à conjuguer son activité et sa vie de famille. La goutte d'eau qui fera déborder le vase sera l'arrivée de Christiane, sublime petite provinciale romantique et amoureuse de Nicolas, qui compte sur lui pour l'héberger pendant qu'elle passe une audition pour un concours de chanson française. Il ne trouvera d'autre solution que d'héberger cette encombrante conquête dans la soupente de Bernard, un peu contre le gré de ce dernier. Pour le convaincre, il lui offrira tous les services de son club gratuitement, rendez-vous arrangés, soirées organisées, activités collectives, etc.
