The film is a sequel to the 2006 film, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited with Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor and Arshad Warsi reprising their roles, whilst Shreyas Talpade replaced the role originally played by Sharman Joshi. The film also features Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Celina Jaitley in supporting roles.
The film is remake of 1989 marathi film Pheka Pheki starring Ashok Saraf and Laxmikant Berde. Where the role of Ashok Saraf is played by Ajay Devgn and the role of Laxmikant Berde is played by Shreyas Talpade in this film.
Produced by Dhillin Mehta under Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision LTD, the film released on 29 October 2008 and received mixed response from critics. However, managed to do very well at the box office.
On 5 November 2010, the film spawned an sequel Golmaal 3, which became the second highest grossing Bollywood film of 2010.
Synopsis
Gopal (Ajay Devgn) lives with wife Ekta (Kareena Kapoor), who is addicted to watching indian dramas. He also lives with sister Esha (Amrita Arora) and a mute brother-in-law Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor). Lucky is in love with a deaf girl named Daisy (Anjana Sukhani). One night, while returning from his office, Gopal saves an attractive young woman named Meera (Celina Jaitley) from some dreaded goons. Due to the circumstances, both of them decide to spend the night at Gopal's friend's yacht.Actors

The story follows Pritam (Mithun Chakraborty), an elderly bus driver. His three good-for-nothing sons, Madhav (Arshad Warsi) the group leader; Laxman (Kunal Khemu) the poetic idiot; and Lucky (Tushar Kapoor) the innocent mute are always up to trouble, mostly by scamming people. On the other hand, Geeta (Ratna Pathak) is an elderly woman, whose two sons, Laxman (Shreyas Talpade); and Gopal (Ajay Devgn) the strong but kind leader; own a water sports stall at the beach. Gopal & Laxman's partner Daboo (Kareena Kapoor)on whom Gopal has a crush, but never shows it. Three robbers – Puppy (Johny Lever), Dagga (Sanjai Mishra) and Teja (Vrajesh Hirjee) — rob the queen's necklace and are on the run from police and end up in Goa. Puppy,the don, who suffers from short-term memory, hides the necklace in Pritam's house. Soon enough, Pritam's sons open a water sports shack opposite Geeta's sons' stall, and a rivalry begins. Filled with mayhem, both the groups try to take down each other's business but fail hilariously. In response to this, Pritam goes to meet Geeta, (although he doesn't know that they are Geeta's sons) to sort this rivalry out, and it turns out that Pritam & Geeta were college-lovers. Daboo overhears their love story, and decides to get the two married, without their sons' permissions. After the marriage, the two families start living in one house, filled with non-stop laughs & mayhem.It is also revealed to the five sons that they are not Pritam & Geeta's sons,but orphans after overheard by Lucky, although they vow not to tell them that they know that they are orphans and, to hide that, they become friendly like brothers.They also open a big shop of toys aided by Vasooli bhai (another not-so-don don)and Puppy for money. Puppy eventually remembers where he hid the necklace, and turns himself in along with his goons Dagga and Teja.

Abbas Ali (Abhishek Bachchan) lives in Chandni Chowk with his sister Sania (Asin Thottumkal). When their ancestral property is taken from them by deception, Abbas loses his job. Rahul Mithaiwala (Shahrukh Khan) is a forty-year-old bachelor living in Mumbai. His parents died in a car accident when he was eight years old, so his grandparents raised him. His grandfather (Lekh Tandon) owns a chain of confectionery shops where Rahul has been a dedicated worker helping his grandfather. Two of Rahul's friends convince to finally take a vacation and travel with them to Goa. Rahul's grandfather dies on the day of the 100th birthday celebration. His grandmother tells Rahul that his grandfather wanted his ashes to be divided into two parts—one of each to be immersed in the Ganges and Rameswaram. She asks Rahul to take the ashes to Rameswaram and disperse them. While he accepts her request, Rahul and his friends plan to dump the ashes at Goa but his grandmother wants to see him off, forcing Rahul to travel by train. He books a single ticket on the Chennai Express, planning to quickly exit and meet his friends along the way. However, as he tries to leave the train, he notices a young woman running to board it. He helps her and then four large men board the moving train, missing his chance to debark.

Malgré quelques hésitations Kaali finit par pardonner Meera, et ils finissent par sortir ensemble. Meera veut faire un pas de plus dans leur relation et ils décident de convaincre leur pères pour leur mariage.

Twenty years ago Angar Chand (Amrish Puri) lived a wealthy lifestyle in a small town in India along with his wife, Parvati, and four sons, Balram (Jackie Shroff), Kishan (Paresh Rawal), Shakti (Arbaaz Khan) and Jai (Akshaye Khanna). Since Balram is of marriageable age, he arranges his marriage with the daughter of Laxmi Devi (Laxmi), who opposes this marriage. During the wedding ceremony, Laxmi Devi and her sons, Surajbhan, and Pratap forcibly take away their sister and accidentally kill Parvati. They subsequently get their sister married to Kashinath (Shakti Kapoor). An enraged Angar hacks Laxmi's husband to death, is arrested and sentenced to 14 years in prison. When he returns he makes it clear that women will not be permitted in his house, posting a sign on the front gate, and forbids his sons to ever marry.
