Guzaarish (Hindi: गुज़ारिश, English: Request) is a 2010 Indian drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. The film was produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala and released on November 19, 2010.
Synopsis
The story, which is set in Goa, is about a quadriplegic magician and radio jockey named Ethan Mascarenhas (Hrithik Roshan). Sofia D'Souza (Aishwarya Rai) has been his nurse for the past twelve years. On the fourteenth anniversary of his accident, Ethan decides to file an appeal to the court for euthanasia (mercy killing) with the help of his best friend and lawyer Devyani Dutta (Shernaz Patel). Ethan's mother, Isabel Mascarenhas (Nafisa Ali), also supports him in his petition, backing her son's demand. A young man named Omar Siddiqui (Aditya Roy Kapoor) enters Ethan's life to learn magic from him.Actors

In a Gujarati village, Ranjaar, infamous for its uninhibited manufacture and sale of arms and ammunition (weapons are sold like vegetables at the place), two clans, Rajadi and Sanera, have been at odds with each other for the past 500 years. The film opens with a violent altercation between the two over petty matters. Meghji (Abhimanyu Singh), a Rajadi head, sets out to kill Bhavani (Gulshan Devaiah) who is a Sanera, after the latter tries to kill the former's son. Bhavani is almost killed but Ram (Ranveer Singh), Meghji's younger brother, intervenes and saves him, only to be reprimanded by Meghji. All the Rajadi elders are irked by Ram's mindset of making truce with the other clan.
