The film stars Franco Nero and Corinne Cléry as a couple in a troubled marriage, and David Hess as a fugitive who takes them hostage. The musical score was written by Ennio Morricone. The film is based on Peter Kane's novel The Violence and the Fury.
Synopsis
Walter Mancini (Nero), an alcoholic reporter, and his wife Eve (Cléry) are on a road trip with a trailer heading back to Los Angeles. Along the way, they pick up a hitch-hiker (Hess) who introduces himself as Adam Konitz. Konitz soon turns out to be a sadistic escapee from an institution for the criminally insane, and he is running from the law after robbing two million dollars with his partners. He takes the couple hostage and orders Eve to head to Mexico. They are soon stopped by two policemen and after Walter attempts to signal them by writing "SOS" on his matchbox, Konitz shoots them both.Actors

Sicile, 1961. L'officier Bellodi, des Carabiniers doit mener une enquête sur le meurtre de Salvatore Colasberna, un chef d'entreprise de bâtiments assassiné pour avoir refusé de confier un chantier à une entreprise protégée par la mafia. Le meurtre s'est produit près de l'habitation de Rosa Nicolosi, de son mari et de leur petite fille. Le capitaine Bellodi parvient à arracher à Rosa l'aveu que son mari lui a confié avoir vu le long de la route, le jour du crime, un certain « Zecchinetta », nom qui est confirmé par un informateur de la police, « Parrinieddu ». Entre-temps, le boss (chef, capo en italien) local de la mafia, Don Mariano Arena, cherche à déguiser le meurtre de Colasberna en crime passionnel et fait remonter les pistes vers Nicolosi : il a tué le chef d'entreprise en tant qu'amant de sa femme. Le capitaine ne croit pas à cette version et cherche le corps de Nicolosi, dont il pense qu'il a été tué comme témoin gênant ; de corps, il ne trouvera que celui de « Parrinieddu », tué parce que compromis. L'enquête aboutit à l'arrestation de Don Mariano mais, grâce à ses accointances politiques, il est libéré et Bellodi est transféré.

An armed gunman causes a hostage situation at a Los Angeles grocery store. Jung-hoon (Yoo Seung-ho) is the best student at his school. His rival, Tae-gyu (Jo Sang-geun), takes any and every opportunity to knock him down both verbally and physically, and the two are known enemies amongst the other students. One afternoon Tae-gyu pushes Jung-hoon too far and the latter threatens Tae-gyu with a knife, an act that's witnessed by another student. The boy has been stabbed repeatedly, and still in shock, Jung-hoon picks up the bloody knife off a nearby desk just as Da-jung (Kang So-ra) shows up, catching him in a most incriminating position. Fortunately for him, she not only believes his innocence, but offers to help him to solve the mystery and catch the real killer – a task made particularly urgent by the fact that in 40 minutes the rest of the class will return and the body will be discovered. The pair set out in search of the murderer and soon discover that just about everyone’s a suspect and even more unsettling, the murderer is now after them as well.

Mari Collingwood plans to attend a concert with her friend, Phyllis Stone, for her 17th birthday. Her parents, Estelle and John, express concern at the band and at Mari's friendship with Phyllis, but let her go and give her a peace symbol necklace. Phyllis and Mari go to the city for the concert. On the way, they hear a news report on the car radio of a recent prison escape, involving criminals Krug Stillo, a rapist and serial killer; his son Junior; Sadie, a promiscuous psychopath and sadist; and Fred "Weasel" Podowski, a child molester, peeping tom, and murderer. Before the concert, Mari and Phyllis encounter Junior when trying to buy marijuana. He leads them to an apartment where they are trapped by the criminals. Un jeune comte taxidermiste, Mino, vit avec sa mère dominatrice et leur servante Marta dans une demeure gothique et sinistre. Après avoir appris la mort accidentelle de sa mère selon un médecin légiste, Mino se trouve désormais sous l'emprise de Marta, folle de lui et prête à tout pour le garder pour elle.
