Hosa Belaku (Kannada: ಹೊಸ ಬೆಳಕು) is a 1982 Kannada romantic drama film directed by Dorai - Bhagwan duo. It is based on the novel of the same name by Vani. The film starred Rajkumar, Saritha and K. S. Ashwath in lead roles.

The film was a musical blockbuster with all the songs composed by M. Ranga Rao considered to be evergreen hits. He was awarded with the State Award for Best Music Director for the year 1982-83.

Basava (Puneet Rajkumar) runs a gym centre and lives with his brother Avinash and Sudharani (wife of Avinash), who treat him as their own son. He is permanently opposed by competitors. Supported by Gowri’s peppy and naughty grandmother (Lakshmidevi), Basava rises against the autocratic behaviour of Pampathy, challenges him in public, and wins, thereby also winning the heart and hand of Gowri.

Shivaraj Arasu is residing abroad. He is extremely good person and opulence is very common thing for him.
