Synopsis
A well-to-do college student (Jaishankar) who lives with his widowed mother (Pandari Bai) leads a happy-go-lucky life. One night the family is robbed of all its wealth by a gang and his mother prevents him from reporting it to the police. Realising that there is some mystery behind it, he sets out to unravel it. In disguise he infiltrates into a gang of smugglers and robbers and unravels the mystery.Actors

Velu Jaishankar a poor farmer, loses his sister Dhanam due to the atrocities and exploitation of landlord Periyasamy. To avenge his sister's death, Velu kills Periyasamy's brother. He then escapes from there. He joins a gang of dacoits, headed by Narasingam. The gang is initially perturbed by Velu's presence, but his courage and good nature wins him their love and respect. A woman gets ready to leave for a get together and finds her husband dead in their room. In no time, a masked man tries to kill her too . His attempt gets failed and he escapes. The woman is now in a state of shock and mentally paralysed. A murder case is registered and investigation takes place. Susi (Kanchana) a young college girl comes to her home for vacation along with her friends.
