Rider and Shiloh won the DC Shorts Film Festival Best First Time Director Award, and an Action/Cut Special Jury Prize. They also won both the Audience Award and Jury Award for Best Dramatic Short at the Woods Hole Film Festival.
The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and was an official selection of the Los Angeles International Shorts, Edmonton International Film Festival, Ischia Film Festival, The Raindance Film Festival, Ojai Film Festival, Bend Film Festival, Eugene Film Festival, DC Shorts, Woods Hole Film Festival, Denver Film Festival, and the St. Louis International Film Festival.
The film was produced by Toby Wilkins and Jay Chapman. The soundtrack features music by Marwood, The Ebbs, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Q Brothers, Common Rotation and other artists.

Tooth and Nail is a post-apocalyptic movie where mankind has depleted all fossil fuel reserves and civilization has collapsed. A group of survivors called Foragers take cover in an abandoned hospital where the group attempt to re-build society. The film follows aging, overworked actor Mack Cameron (Timothy Bottoms) as he struggles to keep up with the demands of career and family life. Cameron accepts a lead role in a low-budget independent film despite schedule conflicts with a major movie role he's lined up for, because it will be filmed in his small hometown of Littleton, Texas. Cameron sees the project as an opportunity to mend fraying relationships with his wife, Liz (Meredith Baxter), and sons Tyler (Dylan Michael Patton) and Joe (Emilio Mazur). Cameron's frustration boils over when he learns he has been removed from his role in the upcoming blockbuster because of his decision to work close to home. Cameron lashes out at the people around him, further alienating his family and wreaking havoc on the set. Cameron's child co-star, CJ Kinney (Ben Estus) is particularly affected. CJ's desire for a performing career alienates him from his peers and family, especially from his overbearing father Cal (Brandon Smith). Interaction with CJ inspires Cameron to re-assess his priorities; ultimately, he opts to put his family and life in his hometown ahead of his career.

Focusing on the Madagacar penguins and taking place before the events of the first Madagascar, the youngest penguin on the team, Private, slips out of the zoo on Christmas Eve to find a present for a lonely polar bear named Ted. While roaming the streets of Manhattan, he is captured by Nana (the mean old lady from the first film) who mistakes him for a chew toy for her vicious dog, Mr Chew. The other three penguins, Skipper, Kowalski, and Rico, rescue Private from Nana's apartment before it is too late. They escalate into chaos against Mr. Chew, all-the-while, not noticed by Nana, who is occupied watching a football game. When they are done, they detonate the door, which is a running gag in the film, finally attracting Nana's attention and leaving Mr. Chew to take the fall for what the penguins have done to her place.

Charlotte, a young woman, is abducted by Baron Meier Link, a vampire nobleman who is known not to harm humans needlessly.
