Synopsis

The story of the film revolves around a Bengali homemaker Swati (Rimjhim Gupta) and her abusive advocate husband Kunal (Arindam Sil). Swati elopes with her neighbour Sarit (Sudip Sarkar) and embark on a journey of uncertainty. Swati meets her college friend Keya (Ranjini Chatterjee) and her husband Aninda (Saptarshi Ray) and spends some unforgettable days of their life in the hills while their prolonged honeymoon continues.

Honest businessman Amar Chowdhury (Rajak) had a happy family with his wife, two sons, daughters-in-law and a daughter. He reared Sankar (Prasenjit), an orphan boy as his own son. Sankar achieved his goal of becoming an actor with the help of Kesto da (Sunil Mukherjee), a production manager. After the completion of Chowdhury Villa Shanti Devi (Anuradha Roy) died out of grief. Sankar became rich and artfully saved 'Chowdhury Villa' from Rudraprasad Sen.

As the journey progresses, their natures are slowly revealed. The film has a style of flash-forwarding to the future juxtaposed with the present, giving the audience a sense of the fates of the characters even as the story progresses.
