Rajesh ( Sarath Babu ) is a happy family man living with his wife Preethi ( Saranya ) and his daughter Abhi.His friend is Vinodh ( Y.G Mahendra ).He meets Capri ( Silk Smitha ) by chance. Preethi's mother falls sick and she starts to her home town. On a rainy evening, he mets Capri and starts an steamy affair by chance. She starts haunting him and makes him worried. Preethi senses something weird and suggests for a long holiday. They enjoy their trip while Capri searches him .All her attempts go in vain. Rajesh asks her to forget him but she announces her pregnancy .He is shocked and denies to accept the child . Rajesh's friend suggest him to go away far from the city so that he lives in peace. Capri has a bad past . she was married and got pregnant but lost her husband and unborn child in an accident.She becomes mentally sick and in the future she owes to keep Rajesh with her forever.She follows Rajesh and finds his new house . Rajesh and family leave for a party to Vinodh 's house .Capri kills the rabbit in Rajesh's house and places it in a pressure cooker. He tells his wife about the affair. Preethi calls Capri and warns her not to disturb her family. The next day their daughter goes missing. Capri takes Abi to a park. Preethi gets hit by a car during the search.Rajesh gets violent and tries to kill her. He seeks the help of police to save him from this issue . After a day, Assistant commissioner warns him to be safe as Capri goes missing. She comes in search of Preethi and tries to kill her. Rajesh fights with Capri meanwhile Preethi shoots Capri to save Rajesh. The court releases preethi as she had shot Capri for self-defense. The movie ends on a happy note.

Pushpa (Sharmila Tagore) is kicked out of her house by her husband and his new wife. When she refuses to leave, he beats her and throws her out. Bewafai is a romantic film revolving mostly around a woman named Asha (Tina Munim) who has been in love with a man named Ashok Nath (Rajesh Khanna) since her childhood. But somehow she was never able to convey her feelings for him throughout her childhood and college days. Now Ashok works as her dad's employee. She becomes very possessive about him to the point where she cannot stand the thought of another woman trying to woo him. The possessiveness becomes so strong that Asha beats up a woman named Vinny (Meenakshi Seshadri) over Ashok. She tries her best to ensure that she keeps herself aware of Ashok's whereabouts. Renu (Padmini Kolhapure) falls in love with Ashok and when this fact is known to Asha she becomes heartbroken. She comes to know that Ashok has been taking care of Renu for a long time. Asha decides to meet Renu to teach her a lesson but when she finds that Renu is a mental patient and Ashok has been nursing her, she changes her heart and begins to assist Ashok in doing service to the mentally imbalanced Renu. Their lives take an unexpected turn when an unknown person shoots Ashok and leaves him mortally wounded.

The film starts off with a happy family consisting of Kapil Kumar Khanna (Satyendra Kapoor), his wife Durga (Nirupa Roy), and their two sons Karan (Master Ravi) and Kishen. Karan is a very naughty kid and usually angers their parents while at his pranks. Kapil Kumar is an honest inspector and one day, on his wife's request, takes Karan with him. While on duty, Khanna goes to arrest Vidyanath (Kader Khan) and Ranjit Saxena (Ranjit) for possessing illegal drugs. Ranjit and Vidyanath try to kill by throwing him onto the ground using machinery, when Karan, in an attempt to save his father, pulls the wrong lever and Kapil Khanna is killed. Vidyanath accuses Karan of killing his father, and his mother Durga also in a fit of rage, beats him and tells him to go away. In a wave of emotions, Karan leaves the house and runs towards the ocean. He jumps in and commits suicide. His mother is heartbroken and says she did not want him to leave her and give her such a punishment. Karan has not died, but has been saved by Hussein (Master Suresh) and brings Karan to his home where he finds a new mother (Renu Joshi)and he and Hussein become best friends, giving an example to mankind, which is later shown in this movie.
