Synopsis
Kurukshetra is a story of war between evil and truth. The ACP Prithvi Raj Singh (Sanjay Dutt) is an honest and brave police officer. All dishonest police officers, rogues, criminals and corrupt politicians are scared of him. The day he joins duty in Mumbai city, he destroys all the illegal business of Iqbal Pasina (Mukesh Rishi). From that day onwards, Iqbal Pasina starts admiring ACP Prithvi Raj Singh. Prithvi Raj Singh with his wife, Anjali (Mahima Chaudhary) and sister, Aarti is living a happy life. Aarti is in love with Sub-Inspector Avinash. Anjali is sad because she lost her "Prithvi" who used to love her. "ACP Prithvi Raj Singh" is a totally different man, a man of law and duties. She lost her lover behind the uniform.Actors

Aditya Verma, fondly called Adi Chachu or Adi Uncle (Shahid Kapoor) by the children of his brother, lives in a large mansion in Mumbai with his brother (Mohnish Behl) who has a drinking problem, sister-in-law, sister and grandmother. The movie begins with Amar (John Abraham) narrating the story of his family and himself. Amar is the son of Vidyadhar (Amitabh Bachchan) and Sumitra Patwardhan (Sharmila Tagore), a middle class couple in India. Amar lives and works in London and he sends some of his salary to them. One day Amar returns home with Jenny Mayer (Anusha Dandekar), his girlfriend, and announces his intention to get married to her. Initially reluctant, his parents are pleased and happy for the two. Hathyar is a narrative which probes into the household of Raghunath (Sanjay Dutt), a dreaded gangster. His bereaved son Rohit (Sanjay Dutt) has to face a lot of flak from the outside world, repeatedly reminding him of the stigma attached to his family because of his father's past. Just like his father, circumstances force Rohit to become a gangster and he gets the name Boxer Bhai. Rohit has weaknesses, he cannot stand any woman being called a prostitute, because his mom, Sonu was one, and he has fallen hard for a married woman, Gauri (Shilpa Shetty), who is enduring a marriage with a phsycially abusive spouse. Rohit snatches her out of this abusive relationshisp and remarries her. But Rohit's problems are far from over. There is a change in the political scenario and Rohit does not find support from any godfather. He is ordered to be arrested - dead or alive.

The story is about a young widow named Drishti Nair (Bipasha Basu). She is a psychic and has the gift of seeing into the future of anybody. The plot of the movie is based on the original script of Jayant Pawar, which highlights the consequences of the atrocities towards the mill workers, totally ignored by the Government. The film is a story of a family of mill workers in Mumbai. It traces the birth of the politics of greed in Mumbai and exposes the collusion between the triumvirate of big business, the political establishment and the trade union leaders who ostensibly were charged with protecting the rights of the mill workers. In the two decades that followed, the entire landscape of Central Bombay was changed forever. Land became the currency of growth, and this began the systematic extinction of mills in Bombay. In a matter of just a few years, hundreds of thousands of workers lost their means of livelihood. Having worked in these mills from generation to generation, this was the only vocation that they knew.
