This was the first film of leading South Indian film actress Kajal Aggarwal, who played a small role as the sister of Aishwarya Rai.
Synopsis
Diya (Aishwarya Rai) is an intelligent university student who does not agree with arranged marriage. She spends much of her time at an orphanage in Coorg, helping her "Uncle" (Amitabh Bachchan) with the kids living there. The story begins when Diya travels to Mumbai to take exams. While there, she stays with her father's friend, and meets their lighthearted son, Arjun (Vivek Oberoi). His views on love are completely opposite hers. But they start spending time with each other and soon fall in love. Arjun however, is unaware that he is in love, whereas Diya professes her love. Misunderstandings occur until Arjun ventures off to the orphanage, in hopes of putting a smile on her face again after breaking her heart. There, he realizes his true feelings for Diya, who is planning to marry her childhood friend, Ishaan (Suniel Shetty). Luckily, this was all just a plan 'Uncle' made to get Arjun to realize his mistake of not professing love for Diya at the right moment.Actors

Paramvir Singh (Sunny Deol) is a Non-resident Indian (NRI) living happily with his Canadian wife Mary (Emma Brown Garett) along with his two kids Karam and Veer and his mother (Nafisa Ali) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Years ago, after the birth of Paramvir's younger brother Gajodhar, Paramvir's father, Dharam Singh (Dharmendra) had run away from home and took Gajodhar with him, due to difficulties with the family. Back in reality, a Canadian comes to visit Paramvir at his home, where he sees Dharam Singh's photo. The Canadian recognises Dharam as a thief who had robbed him when he went to tour in Banaras. After receiving a generous grant from the American Medical Association Dr Duke Chawla (Bobby Deol) who always gives hope to his patients, proposes to his sweetheart, Pooja (Kangana Ranaut), and both arrange to get married soon. While returning home that night, he meets with an accident and wakes up in the East West Hospital paralce of recovery. Shattered and devastated, he is in for more trauma and shock when he finds out that Pooja will have nothing to do anymore. Upset, bitter and in despair, he loses his will to live, refuses to take medicine nor any treatment, and awaits death. One day, Roshan (Dwij Yadav) a young boy enters Duke's life to rekindle thf hope again. Nanhe (Dwij Yadav) is the self-proclaimed camel jockey in the whole of Jaisalmer. Only ten years old, he can speak a myrad of languages and has won the hearts of all the tourists who visit Jaisalmer. Narayan Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan) is the strict headmaster of Gurukul, a prestigious all-boys university. Narayan wants the best out of his students, and places emphasis on tradition, honor and discipline. He has run the university for 25 years and over that time, he has forbid the students from any kind of romance — anyone he catches falling in love will be expelled. The film opens with Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt), a dreaded Mumbai-streeted goon, on the chase to Pillai (Ashish Vidyarthi). Munna Bhai catches him, and Pillai tries to escape into Komal's (Aishwarya Rai) dancing class. Komal stops Munna from beating him up and makes him say sorry to Pillai. Munna straight-away falls in love with her without realizing that he is in love. Noticing that Munna Bhai seems to be ill, his sidekick takes him to Dr. Rastogi (Amitabh Bachchan), whose diagnosis is that Munna Bhai is suffering from the "love virus" which can only be cured with love. He advises Munna Bhai to try to woo the girl with whom he is smitten. What Dr. Rastogi and Munna Bhai do not realize is that this girl is none other than the doctor's younger sister. Rastogi takes Komal abroad to get her married, unaware she is in love with Raja (Ajay Devgan). Raja, in disguise fools Rastogi, and follows them abroad. Munna Bhai is then on gun-point by Pillai, and Raja saves him. Unaware of knowing they both love the same girl, Rastogi makes a torn between them, which ends up getting Raja beat up. Munna Bhai gets his gun out, but before Rastogi realizes what he has done, Komal jumps in to save Raja and is shot. Munna Bhai realizing his mistake, surrenders, and gives up the crime world, while Dr. Rastogi also realizes his mistake and lets Komal marry Raja.
