Vatsal Sheth (born 5 August 1980) is an Indian film, television actor, model and a entrepreneur. He started his acting career with the television series Just Mohabbat. He made his film debut in Taarzan: The Wonder Car and has also starred in movies including Paying Guests, Heroes, Hostel , a Disney Film The Cheetah Girls: One World and Jai Ho in which he did a cameo. He also played Shaurya Goenka in Star Plus serial, Ek Hasina Thi.

Vatsal Sheth was born on 5 August 1980 in Mumbai to Gujarati parents. He is eldest of the two siblings. He studied school at Utpal Shanghvi School,did his Junior College at Gokalibai High School, Vile Parle (Computer Science) and received his Degree in Mathematics from Mithibai College, Vile Parle. As a child Sheth aspired to be a scientist. In school, He developed keen interest in computers. He also wrote a few games in GW-BASIC and Pascal (programming language). He intended to become a software engineer which he later dropped after received his first significant role as Jai in Just Mohabbat.

In Just Mohabbat, Sheth portrayed the role of Jai going through his teenage years. In 2003, director duo Abbas-Mustan announced their upcoming movie Taarzan: The Wonder Car with Sheth playing the character Raj Choudary. In 2007, Sheth appeared as Vikram Singh/ Older Jaisalmer in Nanhe Jaisalmer. A year later he starred in Heroes as Ali . In the same year he appeared in a cameo for Disney’s The Cheetah Girls: One World. In 2009, He was part of the star-cast in Paying Guests produced by Subhash Ghai. In 2011, Vatsal played Karan in Hostel. He had a cameo role in Jai Ho . In 2014 Vatsal returned to television, this time in a grey role of Shaurya Goenka in Ek Hasina Thi'

Sheth is a vegetarian. He is a fitness enthusiast and follows teetotalism. He is a part of the Celebrity Cricket Team - Mumbai Heroes. He also plays badminton and supports Mumbai Magicians in the Indian Badminton League.

One night at the boys' hostel at Jaigarh University, a senior student Feroz (Mukesh Tiwari) and his goons harass freshman geek Vishnu Pandey (Subeer Goswamin), stripping him down, molesting him and forcing him to act like a dog. Three friends - Bhavesh (Shreyas Talpade), Parag (Javed Jaffrey) and Pariksheet (Aashish Chaudhary) live in Pattaya, as paying guests in a house owned by Kiska Miglani (Asrani). Bhavesh works as a chef in a restaurant called Namaste India, owned by Ballu Singh (Johnny Lever). Ballu has a younger brother, Ronnie (Chunky Pandey), who wants ownership the restaurant, because he owes a considerable amount of money to a gangster, Murli (Inder Kumar). Parag is a screen writer for a television channel and Parikshit is a car salesman working for Aarti Gupta (Neha Dhupia). Eventually all three of them lose their jobs. The three friends are later joined by Jayesh (Vatsal Seth) from Mumbai, who is a cousin of Parikshit's, and tells them that an apartment is included if he gets a job at an architecture firm. After getting drunk celebrating Jayesh's arrival, they privately insult Kiska, who arrives back home unexpectedly, hears what they are saying and kicks them out. They go out in search of a place to stay and a friend of Parikshit's suggests paid lodgings. Parikshit and Jayesh go to the home to find its owner is Ballu Singh, to whom they are oblivious of the fact that he is Bhavesh's former employer. Ballu and his wife, Sweety (Delnaaz Paul), agree to let them stay on one condition - they must be married.
