Synopsis
Sir P est un vieux perroquet gris âgé de 90 ans qui vivait autrefois avec Édouard Daladier, le Premier ministre français chargé de signer les accords de Munich. Il vient à Prague pour donner son compte-rendu des événements passés. Mais il est kidnappé par un journaliste tchèque qui subit sa crise de la quarantaine et qui craint que ses déclarations controversées provoqueront un scandale diplomatique. Cependant, à la fin de la journée, ce sont les Français qui décident d'assassiner leur héros national.Actors

Sur la côte marseillaise, une petite tribu a ses habitudes au cabaret de Joséfa, le « Perroquet Bleu » qui périclite faute de clients. Les copains marginaux ou en perdition sociale se rassemblent au bar : il y a Jaco, chômeur et malheureux en ménage, Patrick, un autre chômeur marié avec Marie-Sol, femme de ménage qui ne tarde pas à rejoindre leur clan après avoir refusé les avances de son patron et enfin Otto, un ancien légionnaire. Le bon ami de Joséfa, José, qui fait office de barman, recueille un jour Vénus, une jeune droguée. Tout ce petit monde se retrouve bientôt hébergé au Perroquet Bleu dans un bel élan solidaire. Les difficultés ne continuent pas moins de s’accroître : la femme et les enfants de Jaco le quittent, la situation financière s'aggrave pour tous, le cabaret menace faillite et enfin, le drame : Patrick se suicide pour que sa famille puisse toucher l'assurance-vie.

In medieval Europe, Philippe Gaston (Broderick), a thief facing execution who is known as "The Mouse", escapes from the dungeons of Aquila via the sewers. The Bishop of Aquila (Wood) sends his Captain of the Guard, Marquet (Hutchison), to hunt Philippe down. At a country tavern, Philippe unknowingly reveals himself to Marquet and his men, and is about to be killed. Samuel L. Jackson narrates the story about a group of male penguins that make a 70-mile trek to go to their breeding grounds where females are waiting to have sex with them. These penguins include Carl (Bob Saget) and Jimmy (Lewis Black), two friends who talk about relationships and other things as they meet new characters including Marcus (Tracy Morgan), a penguin who likes to kid around and brag about his huge penis (an illogical point, since penguins do not have penises and instead have cloacas), and Steve the snowy owl (Jonathan Katz), who gives Carl advice on his life in a Freudian kind of way while billing him for the two quick sessions. Meanwhile, Melissa (Christina Applegate) and Vicky (Mo'Nique) argue about men and other women who bother them as they wait for their mates to arrive at the breeding grounds.

In 1607, the Susan Constant sails to the New World from England, carrying British settlers of the Virginia Company. On board are Captain John Smith and the voyage's leader Governor Ratcliffe, who seeks large amounts of gold in the New World to assure a strong position at the British court. Along the way, the Susan Constant is caught in a North Atlantic storm, and Smith saves a young, inexperienced crewmate named Thomas from drowning. In the Powhatan tribe in the New World, Pocahontas, daughter of Chief Powhatan, dreads being possibly wed to Kocoum, a brave warrior whom she sees as too "serious" for her free-spirited personality. Chief Powhatan gives Pocahontas her deceased mother's necklace as a present. Pocahontas, along with her friends, the gluttonous raccoon Meeko and hot-tempered hummingbird Flit, visit Grandmother Willow, a spiritual talking willow tree, and speaks of a possibly prophetic dream involving a spinning arrow, and her confusion regarding what her "path" in life should be. Grandmother Willow then alerts Pocahontas to the arriving British.

Manor Farm is a formerly prosperous farm that has fallen on hard times, and suffers under the now-ineffective leadership of its drunken and aggressive owner, Mr. Jones. One night, Old Major, the prize boar and the second-oldest on the farm, calls the animals on the farm for a meeting, where he compares the humans to parasites and encourages the animals to break free from their tyrant's influence, while reminding them that they must hold true to their convictions after they have gained freedom. The King (Jean Marais) promises his dying Queen that after her death he will only marry a woman as beautiful and virtuous as she. Pressed by his advisers to remarry and produce an heir, he comes to the conclusion that the only way to fulfil his promise is to marry his own daughter, the Princess (Catherine Deneuve). Following the advice of her godmother, the Lilac Fairy (Delphine Seyrig), the Princess demands a series of seemingly impossible nuptial gifts, in the hope that her father will be forced to give up his plans of marriage. However, the King succeeds in providing her with dresses the colour of the weather, of the moon and of the sun, and finally with the skin of a magic donkey that excretes jewels, the source of his kingdom's wealth. Donning the donkey skin, the Princess flees her father's kingdom to avoid the incestuous marriage.

Millionaire animal lover and overall spoiled rich girl Trudy (Rene Russo) adds Buddy, a gorilla, to her family. Buddy finds life in the city very difficult to deal with. Although Trudy raises him as her own son in her mansion (which also houses a few comical chimpanzees, a kitten, a horse, a cheeky, talking green parrot, her prize-winning champion pack of Briards, a raccoon and a flock of geese), he becomes hard to control due to his strength. A particularly bad experience in the Chicago World's Fair makes things even harder for Buddy. After he goes on an aggressive rampage and nearly destroys Trudy's home, Buddy is taken to an ape sanctuary to live among his own kind in peace.
