Synopsis
Le jeune Siggi, 21 ans, est doué pour le dessin et souhaite étudier la décoration scénique à l'École des Arts de Leipzig, la Theaterhochschule Leipzig. Au début de l'année 1961, 4 mois avant la construction du mur de Berlin, il se rend à Dresde pour acquérir de l'expérience au sein du Théâtre national. Il habite avec sa tante Hedy, elle-même cantatrice au Théâtre national de Dresde.Actors

In 1993, professional basketball player Michael Jordan announces his retirement from the sport to follow his late father’s career as a baseball player. Manor Farm is a formerly prosperous farm that has fallen on hard times, and suffers under the now-ineffective leadership of its drunken and aggressive owner, Mr. Jones. The King (Jean Marais) promises his dying Queen that after her death he will only marry a woman as beautiful and virtuous as she. Pressed by his advisers to remarry and produce an heir, he comes to the conclusion that the only way to fulfil his promise is to marry his own daughter, the Princess (Catherine Deneuve). Following the advice of her godmother, the Lilac Fairy (Delphine Seyrig), the Princess demands a series of seemingly impossible nuptial gifts, in the hope that her father will be forced to give up his plans of marriage. However, the King succeeds in providing her with dresses the colour of the weather, of the moon and of the sun, and finally with the skin of a magic donkey that excretes jewels, the source of his kingdom's wealth. Donning the donkey skin, the Princess flees her father's kingdom to avoid the incestuous marriage.

Sur la côte marseillaise, une petite tribu a ses habitudes au cabaret de Joséfa, le « Perroquet Bleu » qui périclite faute de clients. Les copains marginaux ou en perdition sociale se rassemblent au bar : il y a Jaco, chômeur et malheureux en ménage, Patrick, un autre chômeur marié avec Marie-Sol, femme de ménage qui ne tarde pas à rejoindre leur clan après avoir refusé les avances de son patron et enfin Otto, un ancien légionnaire. Le bon ami de Joséfa, José, qui fait office de barman, recueille un jour Vénus, une jeune droguée. Tout ce petit monde se retrouve bientôt hébergé au Perroquet Bleu dans un bel élan solidaire. Les difficultés ne continuent pas moins de s’accroître : la femme et les enfants de Jaco le quittent, la situation financière s'aggrave pour tous, le cabaret menace faillite et enfin, le drame : Patrick se suicide pour que sa famille puisse toucher l'assurance-vie.
