Nominally based on the Giovanni Boccaccio's novel Decameron, it is part of a series of derivative erotic comedies based on the success of Pier Paolo Pasolini's The Decameron.

Synopsis
Cecco, c'est le diable en personne. Mère Lucrèce, la belle religieuse, se laissera-t-elle séduire par le jeune et viril saltimbanque qui n'a pas hésité à s'introduire dans l'austère couvent déguisé en abbesse ? Renouncing her sinful past Emanuelle (Laura Gemser) moves into a convent and becomes a nun, dedicating her life to religion and rejecting sin. Monika (Mónica Zanchi) a free-spirited daughter of a rich Baron joins the convent. She tells one sister how she was sexually assaulted by a group of young men (from a flashback sequence we learn that she actually consented and encourages them to make advances at her by revealing her breasts); this gains her sympathy from her fellow sisters. Monika has sex and performs various sex acts with various men in and around the convent. Various nuns witness this causing them to question their faith and break their repression. Monika has a sexual relationship with another sister and blackmails her (by refusing sex) if she does not comply with her demands. Later a mysterious man, armed with a gun visits the convent. He has sex with Monika; witnessed by most nuns in the convent. Monika is later dismissed. Emanuelle later leaves at her own free-will.

Three friends, students at the Pisa medical school are after their love adventures. Benito (Angelo Pellegrini) is trying to win the favours of Nurse Italia (Orchidea De Santis) but she seems to prefer the company of Prof. Ciotti (Gigi Ballista). Naïve Alvaro (Alvaro Vitali) is desperate to lose his virginity with his girlfriend Lella (Ely Galleani) without knowing that she lives a double life as a prostitute. Finally, Sandro (Eligio Zamara) is in love with the film's namesake Dr. Laura Bonetti (Karin Schubert), the fiancée of Prof. Paolo Cicchirini (Gastone Pescucci) who happens to be the butt of jokes at the medical school, and pretends to be sick to see her.

Piero Spazin (George Ardisson) is a con artist who meets his friend Luigi Beton (Daniele Vargas), a fraudster, and the two get engaged in a new fraud scheme, also attempting to trick each other at the same time. John Buckingham (Ben Chaplin), a lonely St Albans bank clerk, orders a mail-order bride Nadia (Nicole Kidman) from Russia on the Internet. John is uncomfortable and shy, but Nadia is sexually bold. After the ransom is paid, he realises that he has been the victim of an elaborate con. Nadia, Yuri, and Alexei are criminals, and Alexei is actually Nadia's boyfriend.
