Synopsis
Venu d’Allemagne, Leon est engagé comme nouvel attaquant et dont Mario, jeune footballeur suisse-allemand, tombe amoureux. C’est toute la première fois de sa vie qu’il s’éprend un homme. Peu à peu, la relation se construit et se complique au moment où les rumeurs circulent dans son équipe. Beni, age 15, becomes enamoured with a singer from the rock band "The Minks", Fögi Müller, who is ten years older than him. Fögi ensnares him with the perceived glamor of being a musician, takes him on as the band's 'roadie', and at the same time seduces him. Beni unquestionably follows him, including following him into drug addiction. Beni's youthful innocence is destroyed in a milieu of sex, drinking, drugs, and rock-and-roll. He ends up prostituting himself to pay for Fögi's drug habit.

Gothenburg is host for an international soccer tournament called the Gothia Cup where teams from Sweden and various other countries are competing. Viola Hastings (Amanda Bynes) is a smart-mouthed high school soccer player at Cornwall, which suddenly cuts its girls' team. Young surfer Jesse has always been in the shadow of his older brother Victor, who tried to become a champion surfer and failed.
