Synopsis
The film is set in England where an American pathologist Dr. Richard Murray is grieving for his late wife Carol who died in a car crash a few months previously. Murray's grief is accentuated by the guilt that he feels as he was having an affair with another woman prior to Carol's death. As a consequence, Murray has started drinking large amounts of whiskey and is having blackouts, forgetting what has transpired in his previous drinking sessions.Actors

Peyton Westlake (Arnold Vosloo), still searching for the key to creating a permanent liquid-skin formula to repair his burned face and hands, is approached by Dr. Bridget Thorne (Darlanne Fluegel), one of the physicians who saved Westlake's life following his brutal attack at the hands of Robert G. The film is said to be based on true life experiences. The film concerns a young lady named Amber, who dreams of escaping her small town existence. She therefore persuades her friends, Suzy, Peter, Fiona, Ray and Eric to accompany her to find an apartment in the big city, Chicago. Unfortunately, the vehicle transporting Amber and her friends to Chicago breaks down and as a consequence they gratefully accept a ride in the back of a semi driven by a "blatantly untrustworthy truck driver" named Bernard. However, Amber and her friends become concerned when Bernard refuses to stop and they discover that the cargo consists of hundreds of cartons of blood. Concern turns to panic and terror when Bernard ends up taking them into an abandoned meat-packing plant that is now a training ground for a group of bloodthirsty creatures. The leader of the creatures, Veronica, wants them to learn how to hunt human prey and has coaxed Bernard into helping her. Amber and her friends attempt to evade the creatures in order to survive.

After a bank robbery, four criminals try to escape to the village of Santo Cristo in Acapulco, but they hijack the plane when a storm requires the pilot to start to turn around. They force the pilot to continue flying. After the copilot struggles with one of the hijackers, the plane's instrument panel is destroyed and it crashes. Most of the passengers and one of the hijackers die in the crash. The criminals gather the remaining passengers, killing those too injured to be of use, and force the rest to haul their loot through the swamp to the town they need to reach to finish their escape. While they gather the loot, a crocodile suddenly emerges from the water and eats the pilot. The criminals empty three guns into it, killing it.
