Synopsis
Le jeune Xiao Xing est élève de quatrième année dans une école de petite ville de province. Son meilleur ami est Amao, un crocodile d'environ 11 mètres de long. Jusqu'à présent, ils s'entendent bien tous les deux. Pendant des années, le reptile a vécu dans une ferme tenue par Bald Liu, un individu plutôt robuste qui s'est procuré l'animal en Thaïlande. Mais cette année, Bald Liu a dû vendre tous les crocodiles parce que le commerce n'est guère florissant. Par malheur, Zhao Da Zui, homme d'affaires redoutable, les a tous achetés dans le but d'en faire des mets raffinés pour les plus fins palais. Lorsque les crocodiles sont amenés attachés à l'abattoir, Amao réussit à briser les cordes et parvient à tuer le chef-cuisinier, pour ensuite s'échapper. Les habitants de la ville sont pris de panique. Et pourtant, le petit Xiao Xing et son père, le policier Da Wei Wang, sont impliqués dans cette affaire. Au cours de son évasion, Amao avale le sac qu'une certaine Wen Yan avait acheté en Italie, contenant un cellulaire et un montant d'argent de 100 000 euros. Wen Yan demande l'aide des policiers.Actors

A group of prisoners were doing a variety of activities on the courtyard. Big Fool (William Ho) and Crazy Bill (Tommy Wong) were playing basketball where Bill kicks the ball towards Tung (Ben Wong), who kicks it away. In the opening scene, a man is killed in what appears to be an accident. However, it is revealed that the man was actually murdered, with the supposed accident actually orchestrated by a group of killers led by the Brain (Louis Koo). The group specializes in killing their victims using elaborate schemes that mask the murders as if they were accidents. Uncle (Stanley Fung), one of the team members, accidentally leaves a cigarette butt at the crime scene, and it is found by the Brain. After an argument, Uncle vows to quit smoking afterwards.

Cheung (Andy Lau) is given four weeks to live. As he eats at a diner, Inspector Ho Sheung-sang (Lau Ching-wan), a police negotiator, has been called to the scene of a bank robbery standoff that's being bungled by his inept boss, Wong Kai-fat (Benz Hui). Listening to a negotiation between Wong and the robbers, Ho feels that the robbers are professionals and goes in the negotiate with the robbers. After goading the robbers, a man amongst the hostages stands up and shoots the robbers dead. Inspector Ho recognizes his sniffling as the robber talking to Wong before he went in. As the police rush in, Inspector Ho leaves the crime scene to grab some breakfast.
