Lieutenant Ted Jackson (Elvis Presley) is a former U.S. Navy frogman who divides his time between twin careers as a deep sea diver and nightclub singer. The "bujang lapok" trio of Ramli, Sudin and Ajis go to Jalan Ampas Studio in Singapore in response to an open call audition. À Paris, après avoir remporté la compétition internationale de musique Platini, Chiaki est engagé comme chef de l'orchestre Roux-Marlet. Cependant, il est très vite choqué par leur manque de motivation. Pendant ce temps, Nodame, Frank, Tanya et Kuroki s'entraînent durement au Conservatoire de Paris afin de préparer leurs examens finaux.
