Puerta de Hierro, el exilio de Perón (Spanish: Iron gate, the exile of Perón) is a 2012 Argentine film. It is based on the exile of Argentine president Juan Perón, who was deposed in 1955 by a military coup named Revolución Libertadora, left the country, and finally returned in 1973. The actor playing Perón is Víctor Laplace.
Synopsis
Close to his final return to Argentina, Perón begins to record in tapes his memoirs of the exile. He begins with the bombing of Plaza de Mayo and the Revolución Libertadora military coup against him, which caused his departure from the country. He met the Argentine dancer María Estela Martínez in Panamá, who stayed with him. He finally settled in Spain, and became a friend of his doctor and a tailor named Sofía who did not recognize him. Despite of his distance of the country, he stayed informed of all the ongoing political developments, and several Argentine political figures visited him.Actors

The film is from the perspective of Gonzalo Infante, a privileged Chilean boy, during a time period in which the lower classes are politically mobilized, demanding more rights and forcing fundamental change. At the same time the upper middle class, including Gonzalo's own family, grow fearful of the growing socialist movement and plot against the country's elected president, Salvador Allende. Gonzalo's father, while sympathetic to the poor and not part of the right-wing movement, wants to leave the country to Italy, where he frequently travels for work, to avoid the Socialist policies. Sra. Infante is having an affair with a wealthy older gentleman, who gives Gonzalo gifts to keep him quiet. Gonzalo is sometimes bullied by his sister's boyfriend, who is a violent anti-Allende right-winger who uses nun-chucks to intimidate people. The family often buys products off of the black market, due to rationing and shortages.

Pedro Bengoa, an ex-union organizing demolition worker and Bruno Di Toro, a coworker friend of his, decide to blackmail the corrupt company they work for, setting up a fake accident in a copper pit. Di Toro was supposed to pretend to be Mute as a consequence of an explosion, and Pedro would corroborate his story. Things don't go as planned and Di Toro loses his life, leaving Pedro to continue the plan on his own, while pretending to be Mute. However, when the company finally agrees to an economical settlement, Pedro refuses to accept, searching justice primarily, and his case goes to the courts. This event changes Pedro's life for ever.

Dr. Fuentes (Federico Luppi) is a medical professor/doctor near his retirement and his wife has recently died. Casares (Federico Luppi) and Carmen (Marisa Paredes) operate a small home for orphans in a remote part of Spain during the Spanish Civil War. Helping the couple mind the orphanage are Jacinto (Eduardo Noriega), the groundskeeper, and Conchita (Irene Visedo), a teacher who is also involved with Jacinto. But Carlos soon begins having visions of a mysterious apparition he can't identify, and hears strange stories about a child named Santi who went missing the day the bomb appeared near the orphanage.

José is an aging anarchist who decides to get even with the corporation that stole $15,344 from his family 18 years ago. When confronted by the yuppie manager, Pedro Mendoza, José threatens to kill himself and orders him to hand in the requested amount of money.
