Pulse is a 2006 American horror film and remake of the Japanese horror film, Kairo; Pulse was written by Wes Craven and Ray Wright, and directed by Jim Sonzero. The film stars Kristen Bell, Ian Somerhalder, Christina Milian and a cameo by Brad Dourif.
Synopsis
When Josh Ockmann (Jonathan Tucker) enters a dark university library intending to meet his friend Douglas Zeigler (Kel O'Neill), he is attacked by a humanoid spirit that sucks the life force out of him. Some days later, Josh's girlfriend, Mattie Webber (Kristen Bell), visits his apartment, seeing evidence that it has not been well kept. Josh tells Mattie to wait in the kitchen while he walks off. While waiting she finds Josh's pet cat, locked in a closet dying from severe malnutrition. But when she rushes to tell him, she finds he has committed suicide by hanging himself with an Ethernet cable.Actors

Stephen and his daughter Justine run from a wireless internet ghost of Michelle, Stephen's late wife. The father and daughter stay at Stephen's cabin, away from the city. A short while after they get there, Stephen's girlfriend Marta arrives. As Stephen and Marta are about to get intimate, a laptop sitting on the table turns on, revealing continuous emails to Stephen from Michelle. Marta ends up hitting the laptop with a golf club, but while everyone is asleep Stephen picks up the laptop and sends an e-mail to Michelle, causing her to appear at the cabin. Michelle kills Marta, but Stephen and Justine escape.

A year after the events of Extinction, the Alice clones (Milla Jovovich) attempt to kill Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts) at the current Umbrella Headquarters, Tokyo. The clones manage to kill the entire branch, but Wesker makes his way to his private charter tiltrotor plane and escapes before activating a bomb, leaving a massive sinkhole. However, the real Alice boarded his aircraft beforehand. As she pulls a gun on him, Wesker injects her with Anti-Virus before the lack of a pilot makes the aircraft crash in the mountains outside Tokyo. Only Alice emerges from the crash alive.

Barbra (Judith O'Dea) and Johnny Blair (Russell Streiner) drive to rural Pennsylvania for an annual visit to their father's grave. This was their mother's request. Johnny teases, "They're coming to get you, Barbra," noticing Barbra's discomfort. She is then attacked by a strange man (Bill Hinzman). Johnny tries to rescue his sister, but the strange man throws him against a gravestone; Johnny strikes his head on the stone and dies. Barbra flees by car but crashes into a tree. She escapes on foot, with the stranger in pursuit, and later arrives at a farmhouse, where she discovers a woman's mangled corpse. She is confronted by strange menacing figures, running out of the house, like the man in the graveyard. Ben (Duane Jones) takes her into the house. Ben drives the monsters from the house and seals the doors and windows as Barbra slowly descends into shock and insanity.

An infectious virus has spread worldwide, killing almost the entire population. Astronaut and Osteopath, Dr. Ivan Hood (Bruce Campbell) and his companion Kelly (Renee O'Connor) return to Earth after a 40 year space mission with two other astronauts. Years after a zombie apocalypse, survivors have set up outposts across the United States, one of which, in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, contains a feudal-like government. Bordered on two sides by rivers and on the third by an electric fence, the city has become a sanctuary, with the rich and powerful living in a luxury high-rise called Fiddler's Green while the rest of the population subsists in squalor. The city's ruler Paul Kaufman (Dennis Hopper) has sponsored Dead Reckoning, a heavily armored vehicle that can travel through the zombie-infested areas with ease. Armed with remote-controlled heavy machine guns and video cameras, Dead Reckoning functions as a moving fireworks launch base, on the premise that zombies are fascinated by fireworks and will stare at them, ignoring their environment. Riley Denbo (Simon Baker), designer and commander of Dead Reckoning, has recently retired. Unlike Kaufman, Riley is respected for his work in protecting the city from danger, as well as for bringing critical food and medical supplies which the citizens can no longer acquire safely themselves.
