Starring Venkatesh, Soundarya and Abbas in pivotal roles with original soundtrack by S. A. Rajkumar. The film was Sensational Hit at the box office. The film won three Filmfare South Awards in Best Film, Best Actress and Best Music Director categories. The film is a remake version of 1998 Tamil movie Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen starring Karthik and Roja in the lead roles, with Ajith Kumar in a guest appearance.
Synopsis
Raja (Venkatesh) and his friend Balu (Sudhakar) are petty thieves. One day they steal an idol of Lord Ganesha from a temple, while escaping from the police they hide in a house, Anjali (Soundarya) who is a governess in that house taking care of three children when remaining all went out of station. She locks them in her kitchen for one week, that one week association with Anjali changes the entire lifestyle of Raja, he starts a new life and slowly falls in love with Anjali. Meanwhile before leaving the house, Balu thefts Anjali's dairy, Raja starts reading the dairy.Actors

Raghavendra (Venkatesh), Vishnu (Srikanth), Chinna (Siva Balaji) and Vamsi (Sharwanand) are brothers. Raghavendra and Padma (Arti Agarwal) fall in love and they are relatives as well. They become engaged with the consent of their parents. But Raghavendra's family loses everything they have due to certain incidents. Padma's parents reject Raghavendra on the basis of poverty. Raghavendra decides that he should make good money, buy a house and have all comforts before marriage. He achieves his targets. Then he marries a good-hearted and responsible girl, Anjali (Sneha). Later, they settle Vishnu's match with Padma's sister Kalyani (Sangeeta). Vishnu's wife is a woman of jealous nature and short temper. Due to her jealous behavior, there are certain problems. The rest of the film is about how these strong-willed brothers keep the joint family together and reap the benefits of it.

Vishwanath (SP Balasubramanyam) is a multi-millionaire industrialist. Vijay, (Venkatesh) his only son, having grown up in the United States, has no interest in marriage, his goal is to enjoy his youth as much as possible. Vishwanath would like his son to get married and become responsible, his insistence makes Vijay agree to a marriage but with a unique condition — a kind of a test drive! The marriage will be for a single year, initially, and at the end of the year he can choose to continue it, or not, depending on his attitude towards his wife, in that duration the marriage will be annulled. Radha (Soundarya) is Vishwanath's personal secretary, is a hardworking girl struggling to support her family. Vishwanath asks Radha to quit her job and marry his son, but she refuses when she hears Vijay's strange condition. However, Radha's family is in dire financial straits and, so, she has to reconsider this offer. In return for marrying Vijay, she asks for financial support for her family, which Vishwanath readily provides.

Sandade Sandadi is a family drama based movie in which, Three friends Chandu / Chandra Sekhar (Jagapathi Babu), Balu / Balasubramanyam (Rajendra Prasad), Kamesh (Sivaji) vexed with their wives Lakshmi, Divya, Priya (Urvasi, Raasi & Sanghavi respectively) decide to take a mass suicide. Abhiram (Venkatesh) is a fun loving guy sta ying with his parents in London. A bunch of 8 people won the contest of Thumps up, which gave them an opportunity to tour Europe. Uma (Soundarya) is one of the contest winners. Abhiram likes Uma and acts as a tour companion for them during their stay in Europe. A shy Uma could not express her love towards him so she leaves a message in Abhiram's answering machine. But Abhiram could not listen to the message at the right time. Hence, Uma presumes that Abhiram does not love her and leaves back to India with her companions. Abhiram, who happened to listen to the message after Uma left, calls up Uma and make a contact with her. But it's too late for him, as the father of Soundarya commits a marriage for her daughter with Jasjit, the brother of the main villain. On the other track, a parallel story is running in which Jasjit and his gang of goons are searching for 'Mahadeva Naidu'. When the father of Prasad Babu sees the photograph of Abhiram, he gets frightened and approach Jaya Prakash with the photograph. Jaya Prakash wants to eliminate 'Mahadeva Naidu'. When Abhiram comes to know that Uma may be forcibly getting married another guy, he decides to come to Uma's village to marry his sweetheart. Just when he comes off the Railway Station, a gang that is after his life chases him and Uma. They (Abhiram & Uma) could manage to slip off the goons and get ready to flee. During that time, goons again chased him and he is saved by Jhansi in a nick of time. She takes him to a hideout where a group of people hide. They explain him about his flashback. He is the son of Mahadeva Naidu (Daggubati Venkatesh), who was the savior or Dalitulu and downtrodden people of 'Karamchedu'. He liberated the 'Dalitulu' in that area and he was killed by the villains, who are none but his relatives (Jaya Prakash). At the time of killing Rudrama Naidu (son) and Jhansi, (daughter) are taken away by the lieutenants of Mahadeva Naidu so that they can be saved. At the time of killing Mahadeva Naidu swears that 'Rudrama Naidu' would come back and destroy the villains and save the poor people. Rudrama Naidu, who is raised as 'Abhiraam', comes to know about the flashback and rest of the film is how he takes the revenge.

The movie starts with Sravani (Tanu Roy) and Subramanyam (Ravi Teja), strangers to each other, meeting at suicide point of Vizag seashore. They realize that their goal is the same. Suicide, that is! They describe to each other their reasons to end their lives and duly write suicide notes. Sravani's reason is her nagging relatives who are also guardians of her. They are after Sravani's ancestral money. A friend who took a lump some of money by offering to get a job in Dubai cheated Subramanyam. Sravani and Subramanyam fulfil their last wishes with the help of each other. They consume ample amount of sleeping pills in a bid to end their lives in the room of Subramanyam. The house owner rescues them. Subramanyam lands up with a plum job later as the relatives of Sravani take her back to the home. Subramanyam's marriage gets fixed with a girl of his mother's choice and Sravani's marriage with her maternal uncle. Sravani and Subramanyam flee from their respective marriage halls independently. The rest of the film is about how the lovers unite. In this film, Samrin acts as the boss's daughter loving Ravi Teja. She is the glamor doll of the film and turned out to be a big relief for this otherwise serious love subject. She added another angle to the love to make this film triangular. Music for this film was by Chakri. K. Dutt worked as the cinematographer for this film.
