Il fait suite au film Les Mondes de Ralph, sorti en 2012.
Le film est un succès, avec plus de 529 millions de dollars récoltés, tout en obtenant d'excellentes critiques. Il reçoit une nomination pour le meilleur film d'animation à la 76e cérémonie des Golden Globes et à la 24eme Critics' Choice Awards.
Synopsis
Six ans après les événements du premier film (Les Mondes de Ralph), Ralph La Casse et Vanellope restent toujours les meilleurs amis du monde et s'amusent chaque nuit à jouer ensemble. Alors que Ralph est heureux de la vie qu'il a, Vanellope avoue être ennuyée par son jeu, qui est trop prévisible, et aimerait de la nouveauté. Un jour, Ralph essaie d'exaucer son souhait en créant une course bonus dans l'un des circuits. Vanellope va contre la joueuse de la borne d'arcade pour profiter de la course à fond, tant et si bien que la joueuse, en forçant trop sur le volant, le casse. La situation paraît désespérée lorsque le propriétaire de la salle d'arcade, M. Litwak, annonce que le créateur de Sugar Rush a fait faillite, quand l'un des adolescents trouve un volant sur eBay. Cependant, M. Litwak le trouve trop cher et n'a d'autre choix que de débrancher la borne de Sugar Rush, laissant tous les personnages du jeu sans abri.Actors

When Litwak's Family Fun Center & Arcade closes at night, the various video-game characters leave their normal in-game roles and are free to travel to other games. Within the game Fix-It Felix, Jr., the characters celebrate its titular hero but loathe the game's villain character, Wreck-It Ralph. At a support group for video-game antagonists, Ralph reveals his desire to stop being the bad guy. Back home, Ralph finds the other characters celebrating their game's 30th anniversary without inviting him. Felix reluctantly invites Ralph to join them, but the others ostracize him, saying he would have to earn a medal, just as Felix does in their game.

In Brazil, various exotic birds are smuggled out of the country. Ernie Fitzpatrick is a daredevil kid who lives in Terra Dino with his best friend Max Santiago and his trouble-making sister Julia, who likes to bust him. Ernie and Julia live with their mother Sue, who has been chosen as the mother of the year, but she is overprotective of them and often makes them leave notes. Ernie is told to go to the store after school to keep an eye on it, but he disobeys orders and goes with Max to the Terra Dino Museum to sneak into a forbidden part of the area still under construction to see the bones of the ferocious Sarcosuchus. But Julia enters as well and uses a quarter from Ernie to set off the alarm. Julia is able to escape but Ernie and Max get caught by the guards, and Sue grounds Ernie for three weeks. When Ernie finds out Julia did it, he gets sick and tired of how he never gets his own way, but he decides to get his revenge by sneaking out again, but Julia discovers this and follows.

Darren Shan and his best friend Steve Leonard visit a traveling freak show. Steve believes a performer, Larten Crepsley, is a vampire. The film begins with an animated short called Pikachu's Vacation (ピカチュウのなつやすみ, Pikachū no Natsuyasumi, Pikachu's Summer Vacation) . In the story, the Pokémon of Ash Ketchum, Misty, and Brock are sent to spend a day at a theme park built for Pokémon. Pikachu, Togepi, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle cross paths with a group of bullies consisting of a Raichu, Cubone, Marill, and a Snubbull. The two groups compete against each other in sports, but it leads to Ash’s Charizard getting its head stuck in a pipe. Pikachu, his friends, and the bullies work together and successfully free Charizard, spending the rest of the day playing before parting ways when their trainers return.
