Requiem for a Gunfighter is a 1965 American western film, the last picture directed by Spencer Gordon Bennet, produced by Alex Gordon, and starring Rod Cameron, Stephen McNally, Mike Mazurki, Dick Jones, and Olive Sturgess.
Olive Sturgess recalls that Cameron, who had starred in three syndicated television series between 1954 and 1961, was "making sort of a comeback at this time. He was very gracious; very kind. You can see it in him in the scene when we are having dinner—his look. He was a professional."
Requiem used several older actors, including Tim McCoy. Dick Jones, years earlier the voice of Pinocchio, closed his acting career in the film as the gunfighter, Cliff Fletcher. Mike Mazurki brought humor to the picture. The snake which he placed in the saddlebag of Cameron's horse was artificial but made so real-looking that viewers would not have known the difference.

In this serial, Wild Bill Tolliver and Missouri Benson are a pair of adventurers who ride into the vast territory of New Mexico in search of Bill's father, Henry Tolliver, who mysteriously disappeared while prospecting for gold. They soon discover that a ruthless outlaw leader, Jonathan Kincaid, owns an immense mine of gold in which he uses captured Mexican patriots, among others, to work as slaves in the mine. They also learn that Kincaid has joined forces with Colonel Carl Engler, a renegade eastern European soldier, to carry out his cruel intentions. Then Bill and Missouri meet with Consuelo Ramírez, a diligent Mexican agent, who informs them that Bill's father is among the prisoners in the mine. A film about a land dispute. Charles Mortimer (Elliott) buys cattle from Ken Morley (Maynard) and builds a fence to keep them in. His neighbour, Slater (Bond), is angered by Mortimer's actions because he wants access to the land. By way of revenge, he builds a dam cutting off Mortimer's water supply. Morley confronts Slater, and Slater captures and imprisons him in a shack. The dam is subsequently destroyed by lightning, and the shack holding Mortimer is in the path of the oncoming surge of water.
