Many of the former cast are featured in this film: Chin Siu-ho, Anthony Chan, Billy Lau and Richard Ng. Additionally, Chung Fat, who starred in Encounters of the Spooky Kind, is also featured.
Synopsis
Formerly successful actor Chin Siu-ho, star of Mr. Vampire, becomes depressed and suicidal when his wife leaves him. He moves into a dilapidated apartment building, where he meets Uncle Yin, the building's long-time, friendly supervisor. Yin performs a welcoming ceremony, and Chin insists that Yin take a gratuity saying that, "It'll become necessary,". After listening to a recorded message left by his young son, Chin attempts to hang himself. His action draws the attention of twin ghosts who haunt the apartment, and they possess his body. Yau, a retired vampire hunter, bursts into the room, cuts down the noose, and exorcises the spirits from Chin's body. Alerted by the commotion, his neighbors gather at the doorway before Yau disperses them.Actors

The brother of a local business baron is killed by a hopping corpse, a creature from Chinese jiangshi fiction. Chin and his disciple set to bury the corpse but their plans are foiled by Wu who allows the corpse to turn into a vampire. Meanwhile, Hsiao in a grave robbery attempt accidentally awakens a female corpse (Wong Siu Fung) who eventually turns out to be the Marshal's (Shum Wai) wife. During the commotion, Wu steals the vampire and sets it loose but is restrained by Chin who transports and hides the vampire in a hotel run by Wu Ma. The Marshal discovers them and his reanimated wife but the vampire is let loose once more by Wu and they all team up with the Marshal and his army to stop it.

Chinese exorcist One-Eyebrow Priest (Lam Ching Ying) leads a peaceful life with two disciples Ah Hao (Chin Siu Ho) and Ah Fang (Lui Fong) in a small town together with a mischievous miniature jiangshi. While finding new water sources one day, the priest encounters a European vampire in the nearby church who is aided by a dead countess. Although the priest manages to get rid of the countess, his Chinese exorcism fails on the European vampire.

Archaeologist Kwok Tun-wong brings his two students with him in search of ancient artefacts. They stumble upon a cave and discover three geung si (Chinese "hopping" vampires)—an adult male, an adult female, and a child male. The vampires are immobilised because they have Chinese talismans with spells written on them stuck to their foreheads. Kwok brings them back to his lab and decides to sell the boy vampire in the black market.

The film starts with Bold Cheung having a nightmare about ghosts. Bold Cheung is challenged to spend the night in an abandoned house where he must peel an apple in front of a mirror. If he breaks the skin then something bad will happen. Upholding his mantle as the boldest he accepts. However, that night whilst peeling the apple his friends trick him. Whilst scolding his friend for the prank a real ghost appears and snatches Cheung's friend away. The ghost reaches for Cheung but he cuts its hand off and then quickly shattering the mirror, causing the house to collapse.
