The film is inspired by a 2005 documentary of the same name. It follows the story of Edward "Teddy" Brown and his two mates of a Melbourne cricket team, who travel to India for a tour. The film premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival on 19 August 2012.
Synopsis
Edward 'Teddy' Brown lives for his suburban cricket club and his two best friends, Rick and Stavros. But when he realizes that his beloved team mates are moving on and growing up, he's forced to take matters into his own hands and remind them of just how good cricket can be.Actors

Lorna Cole (Rene Russo) is pregnant with LAPD sergeant Martin Riggs' baby; they are not married, but both are thinking about it. Police sergeant Roger Murtaugh's daughter Rianne (Tracie Wolfe), is also pregnant, and Riggs later learns from Lorna that Rianne has secretly married Lee Butters (Chris Rock), a young detective who works at the same station as Murtaugh and Riggs – secretly because Roger had made it clear that he does not want his daughter to marry a police officer. Due to the many disasters caused by both sergeants while on duty, the police department has lost its insurance carrier, and cannot get a new one while they're still out on the streets. Because firing them is not an option, the Chief uses a special privilege and they get temporarily promoted to captains, given that there aren't any lieutenant spots available.

Son scénario détourné traite des prolétaires tentant de venir à bout de bureaucrates violents et corrompus grâce à la dialectique et à la subjectivité radicale. La violence est enfin choisie du fait de l'incapacité des ces derniers à suivre un argument logique. Le dialogue est riche d'allusions anticapitalistes (Marx, Bakounine, Wilhelm Reich) et évoque des thèmes contemporains : conflits syndicaux, égalité des sexes, mai 68, gauche française et les situationnistes eux-mêmes.

An international car rally in the 1920s attracts competitors from all over the world to compete in the Monte Carlo Rally. Danny Noonan (Michael O'Keefe) works as a caddy at the upscale Bushwood Country Club to raise enough money to go to college. Danny often caddies for Ty Webb (Chevy Chase), a suave and talented golfer and the son of one of Bushwood's co-founders. In a typical English working-class town, the juveniles have nothing more to do than hang around in gangs. One day, Alan Darcy (Bob Hoskins), a highly motivated man with the same kind of youth experience, starts trying to get the young people off the street and into doing something they can believe in; boxing. Soon, he opens a training facility which is accepted gratefully by them and the gangs start to grow together into friends. Darcy manages to organise a public fight for them to prove what they have learned. A training camp with hiking tours into the mountains of Wales forge the group into a tightly-knit club society. With the day of the fight drawing closer, the young boxers get more and more excited.
