Darshan Jariwala (Gujarati: દર્શન જરીવાલા) (born September 29, 1958) is a Gujarati film, television and stage actor. He won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for Gandhi, My Father. He was seen as Cheddilal Chaturvedi in the show Saas Bina Sasural which aired on Sony Entertainment Television (India) between October 18, 2010 to September 6, 2012.
His Gujarati plays include Hatheli Par Baat Baaki, Patro Mitro, Mulraj Mansion and Andhalo Pato. He acted in a Hindi play Uncle Samjha Karo and in English theatre Going Solo 2. He has acted in Hindi films like Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Guru, and Aap Ka Suroor.
Feroz Abbas Khan (director of Gandhi, My Father and a veteran theatre personality) had approached him for Gandhi's role in his famous play Mahatma v/s Gandhi. But due to date problems, the actor had to let go of the project. However, Feroz was bent on casting him as Gandhi and again approached him for Gandhi, My Father, which finally materialized.

Jariwala is the son of veteran Gujarati actress Leela Jariwala (a contemporary of Dina Pathak). He has acted in films as well as on Indian television. One of his most remembered Gujarati TV serials is Narsinh Mehta, the saint poet and devotee of Krishna. His role of Mahatma Gandhi in the 2007 film Gandhi, My Father put him on the international map.His Gujarati plays include Hatheli Par Baat Baaki, Patro Mitro, Mulraj Mansion and Andhalo Pato. The film starts with Akhil Lokande (Akshay Kumar) getting paid for doing an ad, where he gets into a fight, as he wasn't paid the full amount of money that they had promised. This continues with a few other ads, where Akhil constantly ends the fight when he gets a phone call, and says he has to go somewhere. He then arrives on a shoot where Sakshi (Tamannaah Bhatia) is shooting for her television series. After her shoot lets out, they go for a walk around the park, observing other couples. At the end of their walk, Akhil proposes to Saakshi. Akhil and Saakshi go to her father's (Mithun Chakraborty) house, where they are told that until Akhil becomes rich, he can't marry Saakshi.

J. B. Bernstein (Jon Hamm) is a big time sports agent who, along with his partner Ash Vasudevan (Aasif Mandvi) recently formed their own company. Unfortunately, all of J.B.'s clients have retired, and he is unable to reel in star football player Popo Vanuatu (Rey Maualuga). Desperate to find new clients, J.B. realizes India, with over one billion people, has real potential for untapped baseball talent. He approaches investor Mr. Chang with his proposal - a talent contest staged in India called "Million Dollar Arm." Contestants score points by demonstrating they can pitch a baseball with speed and accuracy. Along with the prize money, two winners will be flown to the U.S. and receive coaching to become legitimate baseball prospects within two years. Chang commits to providing the funding, on the condition the prospects are ready within only one year. With no alternative, J.B. reluctantly assures Chang the winners will be ready for a major league try-out within one year.

Childhood friends Chintan "Chako" (Divyang Thakkar) and Tapan "Tino" (Pratik Gandhi) aspire to invest in a real estate project called The Other Side, located near the scenic Nal Savorar area and their residence of Ahmedabad. They currently work as MRs while hoping to make quick money through a Godman who promises to triple their profit. Karan (Vidyut Jamwal), a commando with 9 Para Commandos of the Indian Army. During a routine helicopter training their helicopter crashes into the Chinese side. The lone survivor of the wreckage, he is captured by Chinese officials. As the crash happened on a river and wreckage of the chopper got washed away, Karan as well as his seniors are not able to convince the Chinese of his innocence. The Chinese feel they can use these circumstances to brand him as an Indian Spy and use this political leverage to embarrass the Indian Government and create an International fracus. The Indian Government feels that under such politically unfavourable circumstances, the Chinese will not accept any proof of Karan having crashed during a routine training so they order the Army to erase Karan's army record, identities and simply deny his existence. Due to this Karan has to suffer inhuman torture from Chinese army for one year in a bid to force a confession out of him.

Vishwas Rao (Shahid Kapoor) is raised by his mother, Savitri (Padmini Kolhapure), who hopes that her son will grow up to be a brave Inspector. But Vishwas wants to become an actor.
