Synopsis
The story is about Vijay is a college student who comes back after finished his studies. He meets village headman's daughter Yuvarani, both of them in love with each other. Yuvarani's brother (Ponnambalam) opposes to their marriage. (Vijaykanth) Sendhurapandi is the elder brother of Vijay who returns from jail. The story carries a flashback of Vijaykanth where Gouthami is his love and why he was jailed. Do Vijay and Yuvarani win in their love forms the rest of the story.Actors

The film is a story of romance that centers around two lovers: Devaa (Vijay) and Bharadhi (Swathi). The two are deep in love but encounter opposition from Bharadhi's father (Sivakumar), the head of the village. Sivakumar believes that his daughter's suitor is not a suitable one, due to his perceived reputation throughout the village. Although the son of the well to do Manorama, it comes to light that Sivakumar's disapproval stems from his relationship with his brother, who is seemingly apathetic and lackadaisical. The film ends happily with Sivakumar recognizing that his now son-in-law is in actuality a really upstanding citizen in the village. Vishnu (Vijay)'s father wants to bring up his son as a timid person but the guy desires to explore the world and hates his Dad's overprotection. Suriya, the main character, killed the villains who murdered his family and has been sent to jail. During his time in jail, a well-respected collector celebrates his daughter's birthday in prison. The collector's daughter is impressed by Surya's talent in singing and convinces her father to grant her special permission to learn music from him. During this time, they fall in love with each other and opposition grows from both the girl's parents and the police department they elope. They come to a remote town where they witness the murder of a collector in the railway station during broad daylight, but no one seems to care. They then see that the man who murdered the collector is the chief of the village, so they try to oppose him. In their time at the village, they learn about his past and change their mind about him. He promises them to get them married. The movie then moves towards the climax as whether the village chief will be successful in getting those two lovers married or the girl's father will be successful in separating them using the legal system against them.

The film deals with student strength. Sivaraj (Vijay), a college student is leading a happy go lucky life, having a nice time with his friends, until two of his friends fall in love. Vijay (Vijay) is a rich young business man, whose only one aim in life is to have fun, is the managing director of a big tea estate in Ooty and his company goes on a big loss because of his mismanagement. Vijay spends most of his time in partying and flirting with girls whenever he feels like. To manage the loss to his company, Vijay invites his father Rajasekar (who is in the United States) to come to India to sign some documents. As fate would have it, Vijay's father dies in a plane crash on his way to India.
