In festival it enters Raftaar Singh who is a fun-loving man who is un-educated. He has brought a running lion back. His naughtiness has kept his parents on worries. Raftaar soon gets kicked out of house and his father says that he will not come back until he completes his job. Raftaar gets 2 choices that either he will do job with his father's friend in Goa or marry Navjot's daughter Sweety. Raftaar chooses 1st choice after he thinks that Sweety is a fat girl that will give him huge problem. Sara Rana also enters in same style (riding on horse) who has lost her mother but hopes that she is alive, her father Mr. Rana took a wrong choice and worked as Mafia. Mark, a great mafia who wants to marry Sara is obstacled by her, even by Mark's father. Mark soon kills his own father and hunts for Sara but she escaped to Goa. Raftaar meets his boss Kripal Singh who is his father's friend then he successfully gets a job but gets a problem is that he doesn't know English language. Raftaar makes excuse that he knows English when he was in fear that he could be fired. Raftaar and his friends meets Sara in airport. Raftaar meets and befriends Emily as she knows English language. Sara meets Raftaar's boss and feels safe but thinks that Raftaar is a bad guy. In a time Raftaar accepts his mistake that he once made it and his boss felt proud. Sara soon finds out that Raftaar is a good guy when she sees him helping the women whom the bad guys were flirting with them. The same goons who were in search of Raftar gets beaten by Sara. Emily feels shocked on seeing her that she knows how to fight. Raftaar's friends and Sara gets kidnapped soon by same goons. Raftaar tries to save them, in this process Raftaar was able to beat some goons but unfortunately gets badly beaten, Sara later helps them and beats all goons. She then feels happy and proud of his goodness and starts liking him. Raftaar's boss feels finally happy with his job that has done well and he becomes best businessman. When Mark learns that Sara is in Goa he sends his men to bring her back. His mens breach and try to catch her but she escapes with Raftaar in car but unfortunately gets hitten. Raftaar gets beaten but later beats them all except a woman who is soon beaten by Sara. Raftaar decides to take Sara to his home according to his boss' advice. Sara goes in Punjab with Raftaar and meets his parents. She remembers her childhood by seeing Raftaar and her mother chatting together orally. Sara feels happy after staying with Raftaar in Punjab for few days. Raftaar's father tells about Raftaar's goodness and asks Sara that what is connection between them, she finally reveals that she is in love with Raftaar. Emily also had earlier handed responsibility to Raftaar to find Sara's lost mother. She tells the final location and Raftaar returns to Goa with Sara. Sara gets to old house where she lived and watches the vision as a flashback of her childhood but heartbrokenly thinks that she won't find her mother anymore. Sara decides to go back to Romania and she would never return, Raftaar feels heartbroken seeing her leaving after failing to tell Sara his feeling as he was in love with her. When Sara returns to Romania, she receives a news that her father was shot when he refused to get her married with Mark. She meets his father who is alive admitted in hospital. Raftaar successfully finds Sara's mother and brings her in Romania, she reunites with her husband and her daughter Sara. Sara then finally and happily confessed her love with Raftaar. Raftaar feels happy and decides to marry Sara. He tells his mother about same things and purchases cake,flower bouquet and new clothes and goes to church but feels angry when he sees Sara in initial marriage with Mark. Sara refuses to marry when she sees Raftaar. Mark challenges Raftaar for a fight, Raftaar accepts it and fights him and his men outside the church, Raftaar managed to beat all Mark's men but unfortunately get shot unconscious. Sara feels worried that Raftaar will die but soon he wakes up after remembers the lessons taught by his father's words and fights with Mark. They all are thrown in air in which it results Mark died after saying "You're too good,Sardaar (Chieftain)" and Raftaar is alive byt hanging in a side of bridge, Sara confesses her love with Raftaar again happily and vice versa. Raftaar finally gets pulled back to the bridge and returns to Punjab and celebrates his happiness with his friends, father and Sara. This film ends with a song "Singh and Kaur" in which Raftaar and Sara Rana danced.

Shiva (Akshay Kumar) is a small-time thief in Mumbai who falls in love with Paro (Sonakshi Sinha). He tells her the truth about being a thief and resolves to give up crime because he loves Paro dearly. Before that, he decides to commit a large robbery along with his con-friend 2G (Paresh Ganatra), which would enable him to earn a lot of money; hence he can give up crime. He "tricks" a woman on a railway station (Gurdeep Kohli) and flees with a trunk. This leads Shiva to Chinki, a little girl who was in the trunk instead of the wealth he thought was there. Chinki thinks that he is her father. Puzzled, he is forced to keep Chinki with him, as a police officer (Yashpal Sharma) keeps his eye on him.

Vishi (Ajay Devgn) is a small-time crook who would do anything for money. He falls in love with Khushi (Sonakshi Sinha), a simple HR executive, who then begins a relationship with him. One day, Vishi, who frequently gets involved in fights, publicly beats up a street gangster, who later seeks a revenge attack with his gang. The gangster and his gang brutally beat up Vishi, and easily escape the scene. It is then revealed that the person they had beaten is actually Vishi's lookalike, Jai. The goons escape when they hear the siren, and Vishi is found alive on bike, then the same goons gets beaten brutally by Vishi. Khushi tries to explain to Vishi that she loves him, he understands and they both started falling in love. On another occasion, a police inspector arrests Jai and hands him over to a group of gangsters led by Pedro (Ketan Karande). Jai single-handedly kills them all and is revealed to be a professional assassin and previous right-hand man of underworld criminal Xavier Fonseca (Anandaraj), nicknamed AJ. After AJ single-handedly rescued Xavier's sister Marina (Manasvi Mamgai) from a bunch of kidnappers, Marina falls for Jai but he rejects her as he is been married to Anusha (Yami Gautam).

The city of Chennai is rife with the nefarious activities of land mafia. There are two rival gangs, one under Ali Bhai (Prakash Raj) who resides in Dubai and controls his India operations through his brothers Guru and Ajay as well as Ali Bhai's girlfriend Mona (Brinda Parekh), and another operated by a local goon Narasimhan (Anandaraj). The film is set in France and Italy. Kamal (Jayam Ravi), a young billionaire, doesn't believe in love. He works hard for 11 months and takes a month's break from all the work related commitments. Celloist Kayalvizhi (Kayal for short or Lolita for Kamal) (Hansika Motwani) believes in true love and is highly fascinated with Indian culture. Then she sees Kamal one day and it is love at first sight for her, but before she can follow him he gets into his car and goes away. Her father Rajasekhar (Suman) runs a small detective agency in France and Kayal often reads her father's case files for interesting stories. One day, Rajasekhar gets a new client (Sonu Gates) who wants to know about his girlfriend's mystery man. After a brief investigation, Rajasekhar finds that his client's girl friend is dating Kamal. Sonu gets angry and decides to kill Kamal. Kayal overhears the conversation and deciding to save them, rushes to their hotel. Sonu has sent some men to kill Kamal and he is on his way there. When Kayal reaches Kamal's room she finds the door locked from inside. Without knowing what to do Kayal tries to get inside through the balcony. When she was about to enter she hears a gunshot and faints in the balcony. By this time sonu's girlfriend has escaped from there. Just when Kamal is about to win the fight Sonu enters the room and threatens Kamal with a gun. Then he searches for his girlfriend he can't find her, instead he find Kayal in the balcony. Then he thinks that Rajasekar has made a mistake and apologizes to Kamal. Understanding that Kayal has saved him, he tries to get to know her better during their incidental meetings and even though Kayal tries to resist she cannot. Kamal leaves Paris for some board meetings and Kayal is heart broken. When he returns he doesn't remember her immediately even though she has been waiting for him. Kayal tries to make Kamal love her by pretending to have many boyfriends. Kamal does get a bit jealous and he decides to get a detective to know everything about her and her possible boyfriends. Initially the detective he chooses is Rajasekar Kayal's dad. Kamal doesn't know Kayal's name, but he says about all her fake boyfriends. Rajasekar realizes that the girl's boyfriends' names are same as the names of the people in his case files realizes that Kamal is actually inquiring about his daughter, Kayal as only she has seen them. He tells Kamal about it and asks him to leave his daughter as he always does when someone falls in love with him. Kamal agrees and tells Kayal that he will be leaving for Germany and that he doesn't know when he will return. Kayal is heartbroken. Kamal tries to forget her but find that he cannot as he realizes that he too loves her. So he returns to Paris and finds her. But Kayal is angry with him and walks away. Kamal runs after her saying that he is in love with her and will never leave her and they will be together thereafter.

Vedi tells the story of Prabhakaran (Vishal), who is a young Police Officer, who goes to Kolkata in search of his sister, Aishwarya (Poonam Kaur). Prabhakaran, at his native place, Thoothukudi, had developed enmity with a local don (Sayaji Shinde) by thrashing him in public and putting him behind bars. The enmity gets travelled to Kolkata also where the don join another local gangster to take revenge on the police officer. The baddies trouble the police officer's sister and her friend, Paaru (Sameera Reddy), who falls in love with Prabhakaran.
